 One of my kids was watching the OSU vs. LSU football game with me and asked what those funny stickers on the OSU helmets were. I told im they are "buckeyes" awarded for big plays. The next question stumped me: What is a buckeye? I said I thought it was a chestnut. My wife says it is a bean.

Anybody know for sure?

What exactly is a buckeye?
Buckeye: A loser of big games.

I kinda like that "stinking Buckeye" connotation. I imagine there are a lot of others who think so too, at least today.
