The team is an angry bunch after frittering away two games for losses lately, this past week they have been in a bad mood and, needless to say, are focused like a laser on this game today.

Matt Bouldin's calf/ankle is not any better; if anything, it's worse.

Steven Gray has had a fantastic week of practice; what that means for today's game, I'm not sure, but it can't hurt.

In general, the team has been playing lazily and casually, waiting for Josh to return and make the team complete. It's not been a good mindset to have: to wait for someone to come in and save the day, but that's what's been happening.

That's it for now.

We lack team chemistry and have had to over rely on inexperienced players but we haven't been lazy. At all.

If their waiting for Josh to save the day, today's game could get ugly. There's enough talent on this team to win big games without a major contribution from Heytvelt. If their going to win today they need to bust their @sses and make it happen. They really need to get over their confidence issues and play like we all know they can. If they can do that then having Heytvelt at 100% will just make them that much better.

Headed down to the Key right now. Anxious as usual for our guys. I hope they bring their Rodney Dangerfield attitude and a we're-going-to-win-this confidence.

The 2003 team was the same way, they kept waiting for Stepp to save the day, which he sometimes did; when that was remedied, the team got better. It happens.

Not good news about Bouldin! There has been a fair amount of time between games for an ankle/calf to heal up, or least show signs of improvment. One hopes there is no underlying problem which hampers him season long. There is a quick turnaround from this afternoon's game to the K2 matchup with Utah on Monday afternoon. Not much additional time to heal.

Matt has a partially torn ligament/tendon in his calf. Might be the patella tendon but not sure. Supposed to heal in 3-4 weeks. He'll play thru it.

Man - I'd rather he not play through it.

See what playing on a partial tear did for Dennis Dixon and the UofO.

in the game keeps the other team honest (pre-game chat w/hudson & fox).

"They have to cover him." Richard Fox said bouldin, while not at full strength last game, either, nevertheless, threw some passes and made some decisions that improved the play of his teammates and added needed points.

Few added that bouldin was an integral part of the team, even with his injuries, adding his presence on the floor was another big plus for the whole team. Few also said josh is 2-3 weeks away from where he needs to be, but has been cleared and needs the pt, so will be in there as much as he is needed or capable of being in there.

Few also just said for the Okla game Bouldin was about 30% and for today's game he is about 60%
