SPOKANE, Wash. -- There will be some new combinations on the floor when No. 18 Gonzaga plays Oklahoma on Thursday in the O'Reilly's All-College Challenge.
Nagging injuries are forcing coach Mark Few to shuffle his lineup.
With leading scorer Matt Bouldin still slowed by an ankle injury, guard Larry Gurganious is set to start against the Sooners (8-3). Freshmen Steven Gray and Austin Daye also are likely to see lots of minutes for the Zags (9-2), as is Robert Sacre and 7-foot-4 Will Foster.
Abdullahi Kuso, Jeremy Pargo and Daye are also battling nagging injuries, Few said. It is not clear if Bouldin, averaging 13 points per game, will play, Few said. Bouldin sat out the win over Northern Colorado on Monday.
"Get better, heal," Few said, when asked about the situation.
...
Heytvelt is close to returning to action, but it is not clear when, Few said.
"Josh is running and jumping on a hard surface," Few said.
But he cautioned that Heytvelt has yet to practice, and his conditioning and timing are likely to be off.
...
Gonzaga scored one of its most memorable victories in this tournament in 2004, downing then-No. 3 Oklahoma State 78-75.
"That's the greatest win in the history of the program," Few said. "That's an incredibly hostile environment."

COME FLY WITH THE ZAGS: Thursday's road trip marks the first time the men's team will use a charter plane funded by a group of boosters, rather than flying commercial. The women's basketball team used the plane to fly to its game at No. 1 Tennessee last weekend. Boosters are paying the costs of a 30-passenger jet for the rest of the season. Women's coach Kelly Graves said players miss fewer classes as they fly directly to and back from games. "There is no airport security or anything," Graves said. "You drive onto the tarmac and boom, off you go."
---
SAME START: Gonzaga is 9-2 for the fourth straight season. Last year, the Zags lost four straight after the start. Their next four opponents this year are Oklahoma, No. 12 Tennessee, Utah and Georgia.
NEW DAYE: With 24 blocked shots, freshman Daye is on track to break the school record of 59 blocks in a season set by Ronny Turiaf, now with the Los Angeles Lakers.
....
PASSING DENNY: Few now has 220 wins in his ninth season as a head coach, third best in history. He was tied with Denny Crum of Louisville at 219. Tops is Roy Williams of Kansas with 247, followed by Everett Case of North Carolina State at 241.
