I won't be able to read the chat and then it goes insider, so can someone post the transcript? Or at least the relevant questions?

Gonzaga Gurl, thanks for posting....but I'M CONFUSED!!! Doesn't the top map contradict the bottom one?? Or am I just reading things backwards? You guys are PST, and I am Central, right??

The numbers on the top map are in relation to Grenwich Mean Time. Which means we are 8 hours behind it, and you are 6.

They do not contradict.

The top one references time as an offset from GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). GMT is the generally accepted universal time. All other time zones in the world are either in the future of GMT or behind GMT (notice the minus sign on the first maps color key). Pacific time zone is eight hours behind GMT (i.e. GMT - 8:00). Woohoo time is six hours behind GMT (i.e. GMT - 6:00). China is in the future (i.e. GMT + 10:00).

The bottom maps gives you a concrete example. Ignoring daylight savings time, if it's 5PM at Woohoo's house, its 3PM at the Kennel and 6PM at the Empire State Building.

Keep on trucking.

I'm not educating LIZF, just fostering the possibility for learning, in a positive environment none the less.

Tell a fisherman the time, he'll be able to get home in time for dinner that night. Teach a fisherman how to tell time himself and he might lose track in the dark but when the sun's in the sky watch out! ...or something like that.

Woohoo (Time Zones, MO): Doug- I am your biggest fan, you were an awesome PG at OSU. Anyways, Gonzaga had a very highly touted recruiting class come in this season. They were talked up quite a bit before the season, now that we're a month in, what do YOU think of the class?

http://assets.espn.go.com/i/sn2.gif Doug Gottlieb: (4:08 PM ET ) A head college scout for an NBA team thinks that Daye will be the best NBA prospect they have ever had. Sacre is one big strong sucker and the rest of the class is fine...I am anxious to see if Heyvelt is consistant when he returns.

Rob (Seattle): Wazzu or the Zags who do you got on Wednesday? On ESPNU...not available in the Seattle area or in Washington!

Doug Gottlieb: (4:50 PM ET ) I am going Zags....Revenge is best served cold and it is freezing in the Paloose.

Love it!!!!

Was going to say the same thing CDC. He obviously hasn't heard of him. Think about subbing Gray and LG for Pargo and Bouldin. Lose a little on the offensive end but more than pick it up on the defensive side.

Gottleib doesn't want to fill up his chat board with questions about the Zags, that would make people envy us even more! I do like his pick for the game on Wed, though.

Funny! I'm thinking about saving all the zag-envy comments I see posted. I loved one I saw on GOAZCATS, complaining about the fact they got no Sports Center love after a 20-point comeback. The poster said, "Suppose Duke (or UNC or UCLA or Gonzaga) had pulled a 20 point comeback. . ." Pretty heady company there ... Zags as teacher's pet!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
