Check out this list of Freshman who are "under the radar."

Daye is at the top of the west group. Interesting that he lists 4 WCC players.

What is interesting is that they don't mention, Robert Jones of San Diego. He can play!

nice find Zagfan,

As he says in the lead-in these are the impact freshmen in the "non-BCS" conferences, so I'm not surprised that 4 come from the WCC when he is talking about the "west"...

Also on the list:

"Luke Sikma, Portland (WCC), 6-8, 220
Averages: 9.3 ppg, 10.7 rpg and 1.4 bpg in seven games
Breakout game: 11 points and 13 rebounds in debut at Fresno State
Outlook: Sikma is a very familiar name in the Northwest -- center Paul used to drive Trail Blazers fans nuts when he played for Seattle in the early 1980s."

He meant to say Jack Sikma, not Paul Sikma.

I assumed Zagzilla's tongue was in his cheek when he asked who Paul Sikma was.

Ross Perot's VP running mate

I knew Jack Sikma
Jack Sikma was a friend of mine

Bentzen (sp?) was Dukakis' running mate.

You're right.

Perot's running mate was admiral stockdale or soemthing like that.

I can't think of poor old Stockdale's face without seeing Phil Hartman "doing him" on Saturday Night Live.
