this duke team is fun to watch, pretty much from top to bottom. should be a good game tonight, wisconsin is much bigger and way better on the boards. i think it will be close.

Pretty amazing how he already get's the special Duke treatment from the refs...

a lot of people claim Gonzaga also benefits from some special ref treatment, usually when pointing at free throw disparity vs. opponents.

Bo and I have the same tailor and I'm pretty sure neither of us pay $1000 per suit.

I'll be interested to see how the guards play for Wisconsin. Lots of bigs but not a whole lot of depth at the guard position. Watch Travon Hughes vs Greg Paulus, Hughes is the real deal.

Kyle Singler is a special player. A more polished AMMO on offense (at this point in his career), a VG rebounder and pretty darned decent on D.

I remember AMMO getting what might be perceived as preferential treatment as well. I think it is because they are both similar in their aggressiveness and confidence in their offensive games.

Singler is a special player IMHO.

eh, that may be, but Lothar is not rational when it comes to all things Dookie.

I'm a big fan of singler. he was fun to watch in highschool and will be a great college player.

i think duke has a little too much firepower, especially at home, for wisconsin. it should be a tight game though, any bo ryan team is tough to beat.

paulus has played well this year, but he still has trouble staying in front of people.

Of course he does, he's too busy falling down trying to draw a charging foul. :p

And while I always root against them, I have the utmost respect for Coach K and his program. And anyone who loves good basketball has to enjoy watching them play. No team that takes the floor is bettered schooled in the basics than the Dukies.Having said that, I hope Wisconsin kicks their a^#* tonight.

Duke has their offense together now. They always defend, but last year's bunch couldn't score points. With Singler on board and Henderson coming into his own, the Dukies look like a top 10 team. Paulus has also been playing good, so far....he's still not an ideal on ball defender in Duke's system.

well said hillbillyzag. i've never really understood why people hate duke so much, other than the obvious...they win. their teams are almost always fun to watch (the almost pointed directly at last year's team...ugh.) i like how hard they defend and play. root against them as you will, but personally, i save the condemnation for UCONN or a program like that.

this year's duke team can score points, and will be tough all year because of it. everyone knows they'll defend and push their opponents offense farther out on the floor, but this year they can put the ball in the hoop. they still don't have a real inside presence, but this is the kind of team that can be dangerous.

i still wouldn't be shocked if wisconsin pulled off the upset, but if i had to bet i'd go with duke by 6.

If Dicky V vanished from the face of the earth, and if a couple of years went by, I bet 1/2 if not more of all of the Duke bashers on this planet wouldn't bash them anymore.

i can deal with dickie v. he is over indulgent in his praise for just about everyone, so i find him hard to take seriously. i do appreciate his energy and love for the game though!

As bad as DV is, Mike Patrick (LINK (http://sports.webshots.com/photo/1119541271049755565DTKRTD)for pix) is 10x worse when it comes to callign a Dook game!

You're right about Patrick. And when he and Dicky V are working together.....I can't hit the mute button fast enough.
