I've only be able to find evidence of one game that he appeared in, and then only briefly. Can't find anything to indicate he's injured, but I assume he must be.

a few people that post here know him, so maybe one of them could get an update...

Hey guys...I don't have any knowledge of injuries, though it's true JP hasn't played much this season. But even if he's 100% healthy, I could understand. He really hasn't had much downtime the whole year.....went straight from Lietuvos Rytas to an entire summer of prep & competition with the Brazil nat'l team. I'm guessing the guy just needed some r&r, and it's set him back a little with Rytas.

As you'll remember, his team competes in multiple leagues --- (links are JP's player page from each):
Lithuanian (http://www.lkl.lt/index.php/ZnVzZWFjdGlvbj1wbGF5ZXJzLm1haW4mdD00OSZwPTI3MA==) (weakest of the 3)
Baltic (http://www.bbl.net/index.php/ZnVzZWFjdGlvbj1wbGF5ZXJzLm1haW4mcD0yNjI=) (tougher)
and new this year,
the Euroleague (http://www.euroleague.net/competition/players/showplayer?clubcode=lie&pcode=LML) (the best 24 club teams in all of Europe).

Rytas is currently 4-1 in the Euroleague, tied for 1st in Group B with Unicaja Malaga (Spain), a very good team --- made the Final Four last season. Rytas plays at Unicaja tomorrow at 11:45am Pacific. I've been able to watch a couple of Rytas' Euroleague games here (http://supertv.superonline.com/playsky.php), but I guarantee nothing for tomorrow......including JP getting much PT (tho it's nice to see he got 23 minutes in a Lith. league game last Saturday).

Thank you for the comprehensive post, BBskorer! Glad to hear that there are no injuries to confirm.

Much appreciated.
