How good is St.Mary's this year?

After watching them handle Oregon, I think we'll have our hands full beating them for the regular season and conference championships.

I havent been able to see a lick of basketball this season, collegiate or professional except for a few highlights on ESPN, but what makes St. Mary's such a presence this season? coaching? athletes? Offense/D?

1. Patrick Mills (Aussie freshman) is a really good PG - he really was impressive against Oregon.
2. Good coach in Randy Bennett - who also recruits well.
3. Solid forwards in Simpson (all-WCC) and O'Leary - both about 6-7.
4. Good shooting guard Todd Golden who is excellent 3 pt. shooter.
5. Good 6th man Tron Smith who is about 6-3.
6. Lastly, 6-11 Omar Samhan the center is slimmed down and improved but still the ugliest guy in the WCC.
