Here is the latest news from Montana State. This is on top of football coach Jim O'Brien's conviction for dealing meth, and basket ball player Frank Brown's conviction for rape.

BOZEMAN -- Former Montana State University wide receiver Edward Sullivan has pleaded not guilty to two charges of selling marijuana.

Sullivan, 23, of Carlsbad, Calif., appeared in District Court Monday. He remains free on $10,000 bail.

Sullivan is one of three current and former MSU football players arrested in December and accused of selling cocaine or marijuana to a police informant in June 2006.

Andre Fuller, 22, a junior cornerback from Pompano Beach., Fla., and Derrick Davis, 21, a former cornerback from Santa Monica, Calif., have also been charged with selling drugs. Davis pleaded not guilty last month to two counts of selling cocaine. Fuller is scheduled to enter a plea later this month. Both are free on bail.

The drug arrests continued last year's string of arrests involving current and former MSU athletes. Former basketball player Branden Miller and former redshirt football player John Lebrum are charged with murder in the June 2006 shooting death of Jason Wright, who police believe was a drug dealer.

But not at OSU, right? Wasn't it in HS?

Curry's issues come from when he was a high school student. He's been fine at Oklahoma State (as far as I know).

How about what's going on at Illinois with Jamar Smith getting a DUI after crashing his 1996 Lexus, giving his teammate and passenger Brian Carlwell a severe concussion?

That would be ONCE Fever, and when he was in HS. If you read the report you might even get the idea it was a sting.

JamesOn Curry is one of those guys that has been able to make the most of the second chance given him by then-OSU head coach Eddie Sutton, a guy who gave a lot of, shall we say, "serious mistake-prone" players second chances (Doug Gottlieb and Tony Allen to name two). Curry seems to be staying on the straight and narrow, and he's not a bad ball player either (hurts to say that because I live in the Crimson town ... but he is).

Curry had a full ride stripped from him at UNC when he was busted with the Mary J. Glad to see that someone gave him a second chance and has really played well for Sutton's team at OSU. I think UNC was caught between the "rock and a hard place" situation. Local kid that broke all sorts of records in North Carolina.
