He injured his left hand early in the game, taped it up and came back in. He was in a lot of pain for a while and came out again late in the first half but saw action in the second half. It looked like it was bothering him quite a bit for a while but he came in and sank a three so....whats his status?

Bob?

As I recall, it was taped before the injury. But that was the wrist maybe this was something different.

Micah was clearly favoring his hand during the second half and it appeared from my vantage point in the "cheap" seats high up in the MAC the injured hand appeared to be more heavily taped after half-time. Frankly I didn't believe we would see Micah at all in the second half and I was somewhat relieved he played. I'm certain he would not have been allowed to play if the coaching staff and trainers felt there could have been additional damage done. On another topic it was nice to see Theo Davis toward the end of the game. He had at least one offensive board and one basket I believe. On the post game radio show it was mentioned he just hadn't had much work with the team during the past week, consequently the limited playing time.

Micah has morphed into a PENDO like player! Tough, scrapy defense, with determination and heart. It looks like he has bought into the team-first mentality.

ZErogame is right. I was really suprise at seeing Micah all over the court. He was going after every ball and had 4 steals. Like Pendo, if your offensive game is not all there, then bring your D game. Defense should be there every day.

I was noticing that during the game as well - it seems like whereas last year as soon as he had the ball you could see him checking to shoot first, now he's looking to hit someone who's got a higher percentage chance (layup)

And Pendo seems to have rubbed off him in the little "glue guy" ways. Hustling to make the team better - body up on boards, double-team on the slash-moves, all that. Last year he moved the court more like a tall Raivio, this year more like Pendo.

my buddy tried to call me out about that too, it was not, he had it re-taped a few times

here is picture proof, that won me $100 that I have a hunch my friend will never pay me

Looked like the thumb only was taped in the first half - and then his wrist and thumb was taped up to really support it when they returned to the court after the half to me.

It looks pretty clearly not taped in the photo Zagnut08 posted above, which the photographer's caption says was from the first half, and then there's another photo, still in the first half per the caption, where the wrist (and maybe thumb, can't tell) is clearly well-taped:

It was the thumb.

That's not his shooting hand, though, correct?

He shot that three in the second half with the other hand and the announcers said it was not his shooting hand.

Micha was soo on task tonight!!!

GREAT JOB Micah!!!

You and Sorenson need to dye your hair red in honor of Pendos' senior year.

It was an inspired thought as I watched you and Sorensons' dishwater blond heads on the floor...

We just need red hair on the floor..not red uniforms.

micah did everything well tonight, and proved that even when hes not lighting it up from 3 he will be helping this team win in a major way all year.

Downs started the game without the tape job, but about 5-6 minutes into the game he came out shaking his left hand/thumb.
When he returned the game later in the 1st half he had the thumb/wrist taped up.
Hopefully it is not too serious.

Micah had it taped by the trainer in the 1st half. It was his thumb and it was hurting quite a bit. He had a better tape job after halftime. It clearly affected him. We'd better hope he didn't damage ligaments or break something.

Uber hopes for nothing more than a sprained thumb.

I think he didn't shoot much last night because of the pain. Although the nice looking 3ptr near the end of the game was encouraging...

After losing Heytvelt and Gray, I stayed calm. If the team loses Micah too, I will be in full panic mode.:(
