The conference race is interesting. Here are the top 6 teams in the WCC and their remaining skeds. I guess on paper Gonzaga would like to have BYU and SMC on the other side of the bracket, but the Gaels are not playing well now. USF could be a dangerous semifinal game for GU if they make it that far.

I don't know how the tie-breaking system works in WCC but I think it is possible for Pacific to come in 3rd place with SMC 4th and Pepperdine 5th and all three with the same record 11-5

There’s a typo in the OP - Pepperdine is 8-6 in conference play (hence the 5.5 games back and only two games remaining)

Well, that would be a deal breaker for them...Pepperdine had some much promise this season and just couldn't get over the top...should have beaten UA before OT but...

Looking at the brackets for WCC. Pepp 5th would be on GU side of draw. USF, SMC and BYU on the other side. Helps us wildly if it plays out that way.
Don't need to play two tough games, semis and championship. Oh, Pepp could also be tough but not as bad.
