I wish everyone a very good Independance Day. A day to reflect on our birth as a country. While it is a day of enjoyment and celebration, I would like to send a warning and a word of caution...

Many people will choose to drink over the holiday. Many people will choose to smoke marijuana over the holiday (where state laws permit). I'm not making a political statement, but just want people to be wise in what they do following those activites. Many who kept the old Crosby forum company would know my view of those things...

In April my brother was killed by a driver who was over the alcohol limit and had marijuana in his system. My nephews best friend was also killed and my nephew was in a coma and has had mulitple head/brain surgeries and a very long recovery ahead if him, without a father and a best friend.

Please think before driving. Better yet, have a driver or call a cab. Buzzed driving is drunk driving. If you don't have a way tonget home safely of you've had a beer, it's better to not drink.

Enjoy the Holiday, responsibly.

Serious warning. Thanks SW........pretty serious thing. All the wreckage is easily avoided. nd if drink a 5th on the 4th, you won't go 4th on the 5th.
Cute slogan I guess but the message is serious. So much trauma, lives damaged and lost with families changed forever. No drinking and driving. And watch out for those who do.

Travel safely this weekend. A lot of distracted drivers out there.
