My wife and I have the day off and we decided it was the perfect time to do a beer vertical that has been 3.5 years in the making. I have saved a Goose Island Bourbon County Stout from 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.
So far we have had the 2015. I was a little worried that it wouldn't still be good. One sip and I quickly discovered that aging did not ruin it. It is sweet, smooth, and has lost some of the booziness.
I just opened the 2016. It is not as sweet, but still very smooth. A little more boozy than the 2015. So far, I like the 2016 the best.
