Thought it was reported Crandall got a 4.0.....but maybe grad school doesn't count, though I think it did for Goss.

Thought so too, Jazz.

The article states that to be on the team the player must be "a significant contributor to his team." IMO Geno checks that box but maybe the powers that be didn't think so. Got me.

Goss was in school for over a year as a transfer. Crandall has only been in school for a few months as a grad transfer.

It was reported on the Mark Few Show that the team achieved a 3.0+ gpa during the fall semester. I forget the exact number, but it was over 3.0.

GU men's basketball team GPA was a best-ever 3.31. Geno Crandall did get a 4.0 but I believe student-athletes need to be enrolled for a full year before becoming eligible for all-academic honors. Gonzaga athletic department as a whole had a cumulative 3.35 GPA with 159 student-athletes earning President's List (3.85 or better) or Dean's List (3.5-3.84) honors. Volleyball had top team GPA of 3.64.

It'll be interesting where GU lands when the NCAA releases its annual APR ratings. They were #2 in the nation last year and #1 in the nation the year before. They are up there with the likes of Harvard, Dartmouth and Columbia.

USF wins.

4 players (out of 10) on All Academic team, with one honorable mention.
2 best GPAs. Jordan Ratinho (3.86) and Nate Renfro (3.83).
