10 things to love/hate about Gonzaga basketball

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Ten things to love/hate about Gonzaga basketball:

LOVE

-Reached post-season 13 of past 14 years, nine straight NCAA tournaments.

-Coach Mark Few is 211-52, third-most wins in history after eight seasons, behind Everett Case (North Carolina State) and Roy Williams (Kansas), both 213.

-Gonzaga 39-1 in McCarthey Athletic Center.

-Zags' .791 winning percentage in past seven years second only to Duke's .824.

University of Washington doesn't want to play them anymore.

HATE

-Try buying a ticket, as MAC sold out since it opened.

-Zags have never advanced beyond the Elite Eight.

-Few's name comes up for every prominent coaching opening.

-Zags' success tough on other WCC coaches, who, except for Randy Bennett of Saint Mary's, have nearly all been replaced in the past two years.

-Many people still call them Gun-zaw'-guh instead of Gon-zag'-uh.

I'm not making any comments on this because I might say something I'll regret. I would like to know who wrote it though... it just says, Associated Press.
