Starting to run out of superlatives for this year's team. They dismantled the Gaels, who had the "deer in the headlights" look about them from the opening tip, 94 - 46.

Clarke: 24 /6
Rui: 18 / 7
Norvell, Jr.: 12/4
Kispert: 10 / 6
Perkins: 9 Assts, 2 TO's
Petrusev: 15 / 5

The KC was in good form. Hopefully the visiting recruits were suitably impressed

Who is tonight's player of the game in your view ?

I agree. Clarky is a machine and I appreciate that, but Filip came in and replaced Tillie.

Clarke was dominant on both ends Rui was a bit behind for 2nd IMO. Kispert was solid and Petrusev clearly showing the benefits of working against the starters every day.

Clarke is just amazing. His interior D was the key in my opinion...that, and he just brings so much energy to the team.

Not any drop off offensively yet out defensive gameplan is altered. Petrusev did a nice job defending the post and limiting fouls yet not the versatile defender killian is, so we must be more aware of our switching when he is in the game.

That is crazy. Rui is more than living up to his potential and now he might not be the best player on the team. Unreal.

Agreed LIZF, man against boys tonight. Like Farnham said numerous times.....How can this guy not be in the discussion of the top 20 players in NCAA basketball??

Love handing Bennett his worst ever loss, could have been 50+ easy!!

Go ZAGS

It should not be a debate between Rui and Clarke, both are equally valuable to this 2019 team. We are where we are because of both of them. I could care less about raw numbers, just their mere presence on the court should scare the sh**t out of any other WCC player.

Didn't seem to affect Piniero when he went for 30 against us. SMC lost most of their veterans from last year, and it showed.

However, WCC teams should not be licking their chops in anticipation of the Zags losing 4-5 players from this year's team. We've got some real studs coming in next year.

hands down Brandon Clarke tonight ... no doubt he will be this weeks WCC player of the week

TEAM, including reserves. The benefit of mixing subs with starters, and empathizing defense are really showing. Clarke and Rui had their usual superb games, other starters chipped in with points, assists (9 for Perkins) boards, steals. Movement and pace were excellent. Petro really stepped up his game, Geno has gelled, and Jones did a lot with few minutes. For any opponent or situation, multiple lineups will be available for the dance. It is possible the Zags could clinch at least a share of the regular season title with two wins next week.

Coach Few is using the conference schedule to continue to strengthen his team. This may be his finest season coaching. A championship is reachable with favorable breaks and calls. Luck is always a factor.

The last three years have been incredible. Eight more wins will give GU 100 wins over that period! What a wild, wonderful ride it has been. Now finish.

Go Zags! FF and beyond.

Clarke is such a great combination of high IQ and freaky athleticism.

Having a sub like Jones is a luxury. He goes all out on defense when he is given a chance to play.

The team just keeps getting better. For any one Zag to shine a bit more brightly than others during a game is .... simply awesome. Kudos to the whole team!

I voted Other: Tillie

I feel so bad for him. I didn't know if this would be like the Florida St game. I have to think this team played with extra emotion and motivation for Tillie.

I loved all the FLOATERS in the lane last night.

Geno hit a couple, along with Jones.

Huge addition to offense if this continues

My vote was "OTHER"...

I attribute this tremendously lop sided win to our GREAT TEAM DEFENCE...we took everything away from SMC...no Ford, Fritts, Hunter, or Krebs...SMC shoots 26% from the floor and only 7% from behind the arc...I don't recall GU ever dominating a upper echelon WCC team as we did against SMC...What a GREAT performance!
