    as Few said in the article, Rui's rise has been pretty well documented, still a fun read

    In his freshman year, Gonzaga made its first Final Four appearance in school history. The Bulldogs later fell to North Carolina in the national championship game, 71-65. That season, Hachimura averaged just 4.6 minutes per game.

    “I already knew I wasn’t going to play,” Hachimura said. “Because of school stuff and language. … It was a really hard time with the different culture and the language barrier.
    “I’m just focused on basketball here (at Gonzaga),” Hachimura said. “I’m enjoying this life. I’m working everyday.”
