    Beat Washington

Get it done, Zags. While I'll always take a gut wrenching, 1 point win I'm hopeful that won't be the case tonight. In fact, I'm hopeful that Jack Beach and Matthew Lang (Jesuit - Portland) get on the stat line.

        Sounds right.

I went to GU but live on wet side of state now amongst the Husky fans. I’m having the same experience. They have conceded and won’t even engage.

I used to have great debates with a UW friend who was a big Romar fan until his last year or two. His response when I reference last year's 27 point massacre "Congratulations, you beat a school that doesn't care about basketball".

It's no fun when they concede, I miss the old days when the UW fans thought they were better than they actually were.

Well, at least they’re playing us. I remember the Baylor years and beyond at Seattle U when they wouldn’t play the Chieftain’s. Maybe their time will come but it SA’sH won’t be tonight!

It's not quite Alabama....but the opportunity to beat Ohio State and Urban Meyer in the Rose Bowl is a very big deal (redemption) in a disappointing season......especially with both Meyer and the Husky Dubs retiring.....

Well, you'll never see me cheering for the B1G against the Pac, ever, in football anyway. But, that wasn't what I was referencing (my fault). I was more that "Beat UW" sounds right.

I don't recall ever crying bc of an Ohio State loss ... or a UW. But I suspect I'll be cheering for them in the Rose Bowl.

They won't "watch", but you better believe if a miracle happens they will let you know about it tomorrow.

No way that happens! Go Zags!!!

Their Zone is vastly improved from last year. Has potential to be a tight game. I hate the Huskies.

Huskies are on the level of UCSB and San Diego. Barely pulled out home wins by 3 and 4 pts respectively. Only way this is close is if the Zags come out flat, which I don't see happening. Dickerson and Nowell will get theirs, but Crisp, Thybulle, and the 3 pt shooting specialist whose name doesn't come to mind will all have to be on fire for this to be competitive.

Rui in the mid post v that 2-3 zone is something they'll have to tweak it for, or he'll get 40. Will be interesting to see what adjustments they make. My guess is they tighten it up in the middle and take their chances with Zags' 3 pt shooters going cold.

I agree about their zone. Their length and athleticism could make it work well, but I don’t think they can sustain enough focus to beat us. I don’t hate the Huskies. (I might severely dislike them if they win.) I hate Duke and BYU.
                              Bonjour tristesse.
