Gonzaga's at 3.4% and WSU is at 0.7%. Despite the fact that the Coug's are ranked higher than the Zag's in every pre-season poll I've seen, the confidence level, at least on this fan poll, seem's to be much higher for the Zag's.

as it should be hooter, confidence is a good thing to have. The cougs are famous for cougin it! They will be a good team but the zags are better this year than last year, i dont think the cougs improved much from last year, but we will see.

Agreed. I think it's a realistic possibility that the Zag's could exceed expectations this season while the Coug's, as talented as we all know they are, may have had the bar set a little too high. This if fairly new territory for the Coug's, but the Zag's are proven under pressure. As far as the "cougin it" term goes, that seems to be attributed more to the football team, but the basketball team better hope it's not contagious. BTW, I'll be rooting for the Coug's this year, except when they play the Zag's of course.
