JW3 had some nice things to say about his time at Gonzaga in this video interview posted on KREM 2: https://www.krem.com/article/sports/gonzaga-bulldogs/melson-heading-to-greece-williams-iii-thanks-gonzaga-program/293-565854255

If Larry Nance Jr. and his weak game can make an NBA roster, J3 should be a lock. Sadly, it's not always logical. If he doesn't get a 2nd Round entry, hope he at least gets a summer league invite.

I think you’re missing Luca Doncic, the young, tall and very talented Euro PG who is leaving Real Madrid for the NBA. I also think if I were a GM I wouldn’t risk lotto pick on Michael Porter, Jr. Hip injuries = lots of uncertainty on how they will hold up. See Isaiah Thomas

That's a list of the top college players is why Doncic isn't on it. Porter's injury was his back not his hip. Back injury actually sounds scarier than hip. Teams would have to trust their doctors.

This draft is stacked w/ young bigs. None of whom got real deep into the Tourney during their brief college careers.

Unfortunately or fortunately, the NBA draft is more about potential than about actual accomplishments.

As much as I love J3 I don't think he will get drafted...he isn't even listed in ESPN's Top 100 picks....Landale comes in at 98 if I remember correctly.

Plenty of individual accomplishments, several of them were on teams that did well during the regular season. I think what we're seeing is over reliance on one and doners is a flawed system that only very rarely works well in post season. Veteran teams, some of whom were largely lacking future NBA players, have been dominating the NCAA Tourney in recent years. Just look at Villanova, North Carolina and Gonzaga. Those 3 have produced the last 3 National Champs and 2 other runner ups. Not a lot of impact on the NBA so far from players during that 3 year period.

Lost track of time. Already halfway through round 1. 5 of first 7 picks were Fr. big men. Ayton went #1 overall. Luka Doncic and Trae Young the only non-post players in top 7. Nova's Mikal Bridges at #10 first non-freshman US player picked, then MSU's Miles Bridges at #12.

Out of first 15 picks, 1 Euro 1 college soph 2 college Jr. and the rest college Fr.

So Duke had 3 first rounders...should've won the NCAA title with all that talent.

This may affect NWG as Utah still has his rights.

Ha ha.

Grayson Allen at 21 is a huge stretch isn't it? Instantly biggest jerk in the League? Can't wait for him to try to trip or hip check someone. K and the gutless ACC aren't gonna be there to protect him, somebody will teach him a lesson real fast if he tries that crap.

Boise State's Chandler Hutchison went at 22.

I think Doncic is still the only Euro. Some US college players that I wouldn't really have guessed were gonna be NBA first rounders. Josh Okogie from Georgia Tech? Who?

That was quite an ass kicking to Mikal Bridges and his mom, who's the President of HR for the 76ers. One minute they're ecstatic that he's staying home, a few minutes later they trade him to the Suns.

No shame, we lost to a team that had 3 first rounders and won the National Championship. This year is our Year.

I think so too, and I can only imagine what will happen if he tries any of his accidental tricks. The NBA'ers won't put up with it.

And Jalen Brunson wasn't one of them, went in the 2nd round.

The Lakers will sign Johnathan Williams from Gonzaga to their summer league roster. As @MikeAScotto reported last night, they already added UNC's Joel Berry and OkSt's Jeffrey Carroll.
