I'm a big Mariners fan too, so it was cool to see the Zag love last night at Safeco Field. Here is an article and pictures from the Spokesman this morning about the GU community.

Rob Curley: For one night, Gonzaga fans turned Safeco Field into McCarthey West and it was perfect (http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2018/jun/02/rob-curley-for-one-night-gonzaga-fans-turned-safec/#/0)

What a great night! Perfect weather. 2,000 Zag fans. Cool swag. Marco dealing. Much credit goes to GU alum Max Manix of the Mariners who organized the event and pulled it off without a hitch. Good to see SittingOn50 who made the trip from Stevens County. Go Zags!

Great story, thanks for sharing. I'd love one of those shirts or hats down here.

Spent a couple of nights in Olympia with my oldest daughter, drove up to to Sea-Tac, then 1st time on the light rail as construction on I-5 N buggered up traffic. Good night, good crowd & good to see Angelo again.

Listened to the Mariners pull out another one today on the drive home. 8-2 homestand. Looks like Houston is about to go down, leaving Mariner's alone in 1st. Not only would I have "thunk" that before the season started, but particularly with all the injuries.
