Personally, I want Ohio State to win because SDST is a more dangerous team, IMHO.

Two pretty equal teams. Ohio State is just much better than they were at PK80.
I kinda want the Jackbabbits to win so we can have a 2017 rerun of SDSt, Xavier and UNC to get out of the west.

It was a tough game for sure, but Gonzaga did end up winning by 20 if memory serves. Neither team plays nearly as tough defensively as UNCG does, so I expect the offense to find more of a rhythm on Saturday.

I was at that game. They played us tough but we were just to much for them and pulled away late for the comfortable win.

Still, I would rather play Ohio State. Sure they have their stars, but no one like Daum. Guy like that just scares the crap out of me. That said, JWIII is the perfect guy to defend him, if there is such a thing.

I'd rather play SD. Just not keen on rematches in the Dance. We already clobbered Ohio 86-59. I figure they'll be spoiling to erase that embarrassment with a win against the Zags. Either way though I'm always the most nervous about the first game. It didn't help that UNCG kept it close and the Zags seemed to let the 3/4 press get the better of them. Zags also looked a bit tentative and I absolutely hate tentative.

Speaking of playing tentative, all teams (and definitely us included) have a tendency to play more "carefully" when playing a lesser opponent for high stakes. In a second round game, I think we'll play more aggressively against Ohio State than we would've versus SDSU.

I don't like that we've played and beaten tOSU this year, sets up a thing in their minds of "we'll show them" and I worry our guys might have a little "we got this" to them. Though, after today, our guys shouldn't be overlooking anyone.

All that adds up to the fact that I think our guys will actually play better ball against tOSU. Whether it is good enough to win, dunno, but I think they'll be more aggressive and play better.
