For the game, JW3.
I will fully understand anyone voting for Norvell.
Sometimes it comes down to one shot.

Norvell for his clutchness.

Honorable mention to Perk for his big 2 to stop the hemorrhage late and his steadying presence, JWill for being the best player on the floor, and Rui for his several clutch hustle plays in the last 10 min.

JWIII had the best game overall, but I'm going Norvell. Clutch 3 to put them ahead for good, D board and 1-2 FT to make it a two possession game, and then knocked the ball loose on that last possession. Incredible end of the game performance for ZN. Gonna be really fun watching him for 3 more years (knock on wood).

Norvell... Just the confidence to take and make that last 3! Unbelievable... Also he had some great rebounds. Shout out to Kispert also - had a good first half. If Tillie and Silas can bounce back in game 2, it should be good!

Norvell played like poo poo most of the game.

Norvell's shot means nothing if Perkins didn't knock down the earlier shot, not to mention his driving lay up and big time 3 earlier in the half. Not to mention only 2 turnovers vs that pressure D. Second turnover highly questionable.

Williams would have been my easy pick if not for all those missed free throws.

I just had to go Norvell. That 3 and free throw were huge

Would have gone with Williams for keeping us in the game with 19pts and 13rbs but for the missed free throws. Thought Perkins played great, but I’ll go with Norvell with the three and a free throw to finish the deal...Zags winning by four.

Perkins, JW3, or Norvell. Norvell gets the postgame interview so I'll go for JW3. Perkins floater was huge, command of the game and flow was amazing but JW3 was basically responsible for 40 points.

Perkins held the team together and was clutch

Just like I gave it to Jordan last year for his late shot, i gave this one to Zach!

Not Tillie.

I don't believe that was the question.

Could have gone with JIII, Perks or Norvell. Chose JIII for his complete game (sans free throws)

JW3 was great but those missed free throws....

It is true that all the points count the same....but....if a player makes a 3 in the first 15 seconds.....their opponent has more than 39 minutes to make it up....but.....when a player makes a three to put you up 3 with 15 seconds left .....well....there is very little time to tie it up..

.....Was it Animal Farm.....Some are more equal than others......that kid is special...Snacks or Microwave or just Zack....he will never have to buy a beer in Spokane...

I was really happy to see Kispert play with such confidence as well..

Yeah his FT shooting was terrible, that's a real problem. Perkins had a good game and made some clutch plays as others have pointed out. The win wouldn't have been possible w/out the contributions of JWIII, Perkins and Norvell.

All three were responsible for the win. I voted for Norvell. He has confidence and determination when no one else does.

Snacks saved the day.

I had the damn game on my ipad during a conference call and realized that I freaking forgot to put my phone on mute. I had to explain that the cursing was not related to the meeting or any of the attendees (except maybe for the dude that scheduled the meeting!).

Norvell just because of that three and that rebound, and despite missing one of two.

Went with Perkins because he was just steady. Both he and Melson held it together as NC-greens guards continued to hit garbage shots (tough) shots down the stretch. Perkins hit some critical shots.

Nod to Norvell for hitting the tough shot (kid is nails) and to Kispert, who played solid.

Vote would have went to JWIII for being so dominant down low, but with his ft's such a liability, it's hard to vote for him. I would LOVE to see him have a stat line with 9-9 or 11-11 from the line...

But 3-12 from floor doesn't? 8 points versus min of 18

Fair point, but let's look at it from coach Fews perspective; he knows that Zach is instant offense even if his shot isn't falling so he keeps him in and let's him play through his mistakes. He also knows that JW III is a horrific free-throw shooter so at the end of the game he subs him out so opposing teams cannot employ "Hack A III".

Norvell because - well I cant find the meme of David Stockton on the bench showcasing someone having oversized cojones, but Norvell has them.

Has to be Perkins IMO. Was the only consistent player today and notably worse performance when he went to the bench.

I don't understand the Norvell choice. He was 3-12 from the field with a pretty poor shot selection. I understand he hit a clutch 3, but there is no need for the clutch 3 at the end if he makes a few of the others earlier.

Went with J3. 19 & 13 - another double double. Next rebounder was Rui w/ 5. If Zags had not gotten the 13 from Jonathan we'd have lost that game. UNCG had 44 rebounds we had 39. Would also like to mention Kispert's first half .... he helped keep us in it.

Watching O and SD now (50-48 O with 15:24 left). I personally would rather the Zags played SD. I'm not keen on rematches during the Dance.

JIII carried the team, Zach's three was huge of course, and Perkins to play the last four or five minutes with four fouls was big. I went with JIII.

- perkins for his overall good game
- with Tillie and rui contributing next to nothing, he consciously picked up the scoring slack. in vegas he did just the opposite, he knows how to manage a game.

Perkins, then jw3 and then Zn.

People will remember the 3 by Zn but if he misses it or doesn't shoot it, he had a poor game. Thankfully that's all what ifs.

I give it to Josh.

easy vote for me. JW3. Another double-double. He and Josh were the player who I felt played really good games. IMO Norvell did not. In fact he played so so. Far from his best game this year. Horrible on defense. I love JW3 and he clearly is one player who wants to go deep into this tournament. 100% effort the whole game, and NOT AFRAID.

Go Zags!!!

JW3- lack free throws made hurts his great line

Perkins, by a nose over JW3, who would have gotten my vote if not for the ft's. Yeah ZN hit the big shot, but had a poor, for him, game to that point. W/O the other 2 guys, Zags are down 10 when that shot goes in and it doesn't matter. It's the whole game, not just the last play.

I'm going with Perkins. He really kept things together down the stretch. He was the MVP today.

Yeah, going 3-9 from the FT line during the Dance gets you scrubbed from GUnit consideration.
