Daum and co. have him, among other things, run screens in the circle designed to create space for a little penetration for the dribbler but mostly space for him to pop to the top of the key and catch and shoot it

Stadiums usually dictate camera positions not networks. I know some blamed CBS on game thread. Flip threw games and you’ll see lots the different angles. Didn’t bother me but did notice it.

Yeah, I knew that the stadium "set-up" dictated where they place cameras. Actually, the Kennel's camera angle is pretty inclined as well, with the cameras at the very top.

For whatever reason, it really bothered me to start the GU game. I couldn't shoot at all. :) It just seemed strange and wanted to know if others noticed it and whether they liked it or not. Perhaps some perfer a more inclided angle.

Love the Tournament, but it still baffles me how they think it's ok for teams like Radford, Texas Southern, UNC Central, UMBC to be in this tournament over schools like Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, St. Mary's, USC.

I am for the upset, but those 4 have absolulely zero chance to beat a 1 seed or 2 seed. They are only in cause they won a 3-4 game tournament which makes their games Jan-March meaningless.

Buffalo is showing why the Mid-American is the most underrated and one of the most entertaining leagues in America. The teams recruit the same players. They are all from Michigan and Ohio. The teams are so evenly matched that if you don't bring your dukes, you're going home with a loss. It's why they almost always perform well in the NCAA's. The teams are used to being tested and they know how to sink their fangs into an opponents neck who is not taking them seriously or who isn't bringing their A game.

Arizona was a popular pick by the talking heads to go very far in this tournament. They've got great individual talent but every time I've watched them this year, they have played inferior teams very close...

I never did understand that. Arizona finished last in the Bahamas and won a dreadful Pac-12 this year. They did nothing to warrant the praise they received. I found it pretty humorous. Arizona was incredibly overrated. It amazed me how many people on here didn't want Gonzaga to have anything to do with them. I would have loved to have seen that matchup. Gonzaga would have crushed the Wildcats this year.

That said I have a ton of respect for the AZ program and that will stand assuming the report about Ayton and Miller is bogus. But you can't deny that Miller has not made a deep run in the tournament at Arizona. I'm starting to think he's not the great coach some people make him out to be.

Boy the temperature is up to 134 degrees on Sean Millers hot seat.

With all due respect to Buffalo, this is one of the most humiliating losses in the history of this tournament. It's not that Buffalo upset Zona. It's that they were blown out of the stadium. Gonzaga played a 13 seed, struggled, but they still won the game by 4. Without a guy like Deandre Ayton on its roster.

Nah. Baylor was in worse shape a few years ago. YOO OF AYE has name recognition and a huge fan base. They'll get slapped on the wrist and be back in a few years. If UNC didn't get the hammer, the hammer is not there to be gotten by the big boys.

UNC wasn't under FBI investigation just the toothless NCAA which is not going to ruin a blue blood. The FBI is no joke, Arizona is done for the foreseeable future.

He was not that tonight, but I blame Arizona's bad defense along the perimeter even more.

Does Sean Miller make it to the fall with a busted tournament and a busted recruiting class? Even if there is no bearing to the FBI reports, it seems as though he has been thoroughly roasted to end the year.

I will say this, take a moment to peek at Buffalo's stat/roster page:

http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/stats/_/id/2084

Impressive.

(4) of their starters average over 14.5 ppg. Not only balanced but all legit weapons/scorers.

They average more pts than us as a team. 85 ppg.

Also, (3) starters average of 6 rpg. Again, impressive.

I've said all season, the Big10 is insanely overrated this year.

They all make themselves look better than they really are...

Outside Mich St's NBA prospects, I haven't been impressed overall compared to year's prior, yet somehow this is one of their best seasons ever from a ranking perspective.

Purdue, Mich, Mich St, all good teams, not far from that good.

Spartans probably the best bet to advance.

It was really only one poster, can't remember which one it was, that every chance he could was talking about how afraid he was for us to face Arizona. I called him out on it, a little too harshly I admit, and was scolded with a warning, rightfully so. But I hope that particular poster realizes how silly he was for believing and Sean Miller.

Nobody said they were afraid of Arizona. I said I believe we match up wrong with Arizona. Just because they lost to buffalo or Colorado doesn't mean we couldnt have issues.

Let it go. Your wrong about half the stuff you speak on.

It's the cumulative affect of FBI history investigating Miller, Ayton leaving and all of their stud recruits decommitting. Arizona men's basketball has become the equivalent of a sports STD, no one wants anything to do with them.

I'm rapidly getting the impression there's a bunch of smoke, but not a lot of fire. Those four assistants will cop pleas, and not much else will come from it.

The NCAA needs the NBA's help in ending one and done. You do that, and most of the problems go away. Bright athletes like the young men who play for Gonzaga will continue to play college ball. The two teams affected the most negatively will be Kentucky and Duke, as their recruits will opt for the NBA's coming academy.

Did anyone see Sister Jean's interview with one of the sideline reporters on TBS or whatever it was?? As many of us know, Loyola-Chicago are our Jesuit brothers, and Sister Jean is a mammoth basketball fan who remembers the Walt Frazier days. She's just this old lady in a wheelchair, and the entire Rambler roster of young men have take her on as an inspiration. She gave a pre-game speech to the team, and the entire team gave Sister Jean her own handshake line after the win. Just beautiful. She also gave one of the quotes of the night......"I just prayed to God for fairness and that we wouldn't be stuck with bad referees." Sounds like a reasonable prayer to me.

I've mentioned this before..........if Gonzaga @ North Carolina ends up being a Saturday game on CBS next year, I wouldn't mind seeing a Thursday night game, somewhere in between, because it's worked for Gonzaga in the past. It gives the team a chance to adjust to the time change and such. It probably won't occur, but a stop at Loyola-Chicago to give Zach Norvell a "hometown" game before his friends and family would be kind of cool. I bet the Ramblers athletic dept. would give the Zags almost any amount of tickets to be able to host the Zags. I think they play in a 5,300 seater of something like that, so there's plenty of seats.

Historically the Zags are 3-1 in the 20 year run when playing on St Paddy's Day all wins in round 1 games. They beat Winthrop in '05, St Johns in '11, and Seton hall in '16. Unfortunately, the only loss on March 17 was to these same OSU tree nuts in a round 2 game in '12. I seem to recall an irritating PG played for tOSU.

Went to the AZ board. Pretty funny, they were livid that GU (from the WCC) got the protected seed out West, etc. Nothing but talk about them and Kentucky being the best 2nd game matchup, etc. Then crickets.

Now most of them think the program is done.

If you watched any of the AZ/Buff game you could see that the AZ players almost didn't even care. I don't think Miller had too much control over the younger guys. Not sure if Miller has a system, but if he did they guys weren't buying into it.

I am really serious about this...........I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Sean Miller quits Arizona and goes to Pitt. Sean played for Pitt and grew up in the area. This is his 3rd straight loss in the tourney to a double digit seeded team. There's all the FBI and NCAA issues surrounding the Zona program, and a fanbase that is not the least bit pleased.

I think he is actually a good coach, I am not sure if he excels at this level. Some guys are just meant to work at places like Xavier. Kind of like how Ben Jacobson tried his BCS hand, and then went right back to Northern Iowa and started kicking butt again.

If Miller did choose to leave Arizona and return to Pitt, he'd be facing an even bigger rebuilding job there than staying in Tucson. Saw a headline about 7 or 8 Pitt players looking at transferring, they only have 1 incoming recruit at this point and he's trying to get out of his LOI. Not too mention Pitt has never really gained any traction since they joined the ACC. Arizona has plenty of chaos swirling around it currently, but it's still a plum job out West.
