Don't believe I have seen this one though I may have missed it. Georgia coach Dennis Felton has dismissed returning leading scorer Takais Brown from the team. As an earlier thread on the board has noted 3 players (including Brown) had suspensions of varying lengths already in place. This will be a weakened Georgia team facing the Zags in early Jan. Georgia, however, will have the coming months learning to play without Brown.

They won't have Mike Mercer available, either, right? Levi Stukes graduated.

Blue Ribbon says Felton believes Mercer's knee should be ready to go by the start of the season, BZ. Not sure how old that info is.

even if mercer is ready to play at season's start, he is one of the one's with a suspension. mercer is a very talented player, he went to my high school's rival, and i watched many games with him and louis williams. too bad he cant keep up in the classroom cuz he is a helluva player. if he cant go against GU then it will be a huge gain for the Zags, cuz word was before the season him and brown were going to be the main guys on that roster
