What are you expecting against the Waves? What do you hope to see... score predictions.

Sorry, but after a 4.5 hour drive, I am plain tuckered out... will have results of SCU game up tomorrow night.

Have at it boys and girls!

Looking forward to watching the two Denver area PG's that I have had the pleasure of coaching go at it head-to-head. Waves pg Colby Ross is a true frosh averaging 15 points and 6 assists. He grew up right down the street from Josh and, their families are tight. Will be fun to watch.

Pepperdine is really young this year and are really struggling. Zags will llikely win this one by 30+

Congrats on coaching these two young guys Mile. Only very few people can send their products to D1 schools. Makes it fun to watch as they grow. I don't know any coaches who don't take some pride and ownership in the products of their contributions. Lucky guy. Congrats. Coaches teach life long lessons.

I hope to see Williams, Tillie and Larsen giving our guards some 3 point shooting rest. Also want to see good ball handling and more spiffy steals.

Appreciate the kind words. Anytime a kid I have been involved with reaches their dream of playing college basketball, be it D1,D2,D3, NAIA or even JUCO, I am just extremely happy for the kid because I know how hard they worked to get there.

No injuries and continued improvement. I am a little worried because I think it's very hard to get better without playing teams that force you to improve in order to win. I guess that's just the WCC conrundum. SMC and BYU become the benchmarks for improvement and comparison.

Don't know if Edwards has recovered from his concussion; however, if he does play he adds offence to PU...they are not a good 3pt shooting team and even though they lead the NCAA in 3pt defence they allowed USD's starting guards to shoot 10-18 behind the arc...

I would like to see GU's defence continue to limit good looks, block out and make free throws...and I hope we shoot the ball better from behind the arc as we have only had one game on the road where we shot over 40%...

Yeah. Perhaps simply continuing to play all sorts of combos of kids helps. In the "easier" games, let them feel out every combo conceivable. Maybe they don't get lulled into things and keep their heads totally in it, not knowing who they'll be out there with each night.

Waves aren't much better than the Broncos... but game is in Malibu so I'll shave a few points off the Zags score.

Has anyone been to a game at Pepperdine recently? I have general admission tickets, which looks like it's basically one whole side of the gym, but it also looks like students are on the GA side maybe? Just trying to figure out if I need to get there super early or how crowded it has been in recent years. Any insight is appreciated.

I think 3pt shooting percentage drops a bit on the road, it always has. Maybe a good chance to start working on some interior game.

Each week, Bulldog fans love to criticize one or several of a revolving door of players whose performances fail to meet expectations. This week it's KT's & JWIII's turn in the barrel. Tonight, expect both to vie for POG and waterboard the Waves in the paint. If PU had those two talented players plus, let's say, Jesse Wade, they'd be contenders for a league title. But alas, instead, the Waves have . . . charitably, lots of injuries.

Considering Pepperdine's result vs Santa Clara last week, can't fathom the line guys' cautious 20 pt spread (bettors have raised it to 22). They must know something. Is it the flu? Are they counting on the siren song of fabulous, warm weather and summer-clad coeds shipwrecking the Zags? I KNOW that even if GU plays as badly as they did in San Diego, they still beat Pepp by 10 or 12. Just can't see that happening again. Sorry, Marty, I really like you, but here comes another rent in your long-term employment prospects: GU 91 Pepp 60. Geez, that sounds terribly smug. Hoping it actually turns out to be a good game.

1 way to keep the team motivated..try and break a record by pressing entire game and shooting early in the shot clock (10-12 sec average).....Wade and Beach go for 20 each

Dec. 17, 1995: The 91-point margin is the largest ever for a game featuring two NCAA Division I teams. Tulsa forced 37 turnovers and led 59-19 at halftime. It was a long season for Prairie View, which went 4-23, allowed an average of 100.9 points per loss and was winless against Division I opposition.

The Zags should to as well against the Waves and the Lions as they did against Pacific and Santa Clara ..... but then I've thought the same in the past years when the Zags have gone to the LA area to play and what should have been a no contest blowout turns into a nail biter. I'd prefer a couple of 30 point everyone plays no stress wins.

Maybe a little closer because it's on the road. GU 90 Pepp 65.

89-68 Zags.

I think students are on the same side as GA. GA on upper level and students below. If there are students there and if they stand - then you will need to choose your GA seat wisely. I don't know for sure but I would guess not a sell out tonight - middle of week, not sure if students there. I would still get there early if I were you because it takes a bit to wind through the campus, parking not that great.

116-62 Few suits up the the ball boy who scores 14 with 7 assists. Pepperdine lost to the worst Santa Clara team I have ever seen. The bottom 5 teams in the WCC are really bad.
