A bit of a stinker but a win is a win.

Who's your player of the game?

Josh was named Player of the Game by the broadcast crew, that sealed it for me.

I went Jones...his D when we started the press saved this game.

I went with Jones too.

Perkins credited Jones.

Defense was a big problem tonight that Jones helped to solve.

I vote the fans. They wouldnít have won without the fans cheering them on to victory.

The crowd did its job in the second half.

U Zig, I Zag

Sort of an ugly effort but they rallied.

Team lacks a leader on the court. Prob should be josh.

Zags lose unless JONES comes in and leads the press. All things considered that was the difference maker IHMO.

great second half by Josh and Norvell. Co-MVP's but I gave my vote to Josh as he's the Veteran. I really liked both of their energies that brought to the game down the stretch, and some mighty fine shooting. Josh played pretty good defense to. Norvell hit the boards hard.

Passive aggressive. :).

Jones turned the tide

I gave this one to Zach because he's a freshman and he keeps coming up big. I agree that Jeremy was playing some great D with the press tonight. Very impressed with that press. But I'm also going to give a shout out to the broadcast crew. They were almost unrecognizable, very professional, great job.

Passive aggressive. :).

That’s funny!

I vote for the press, which was a team effort. Several led it, but it was the press that really turned the game around and caused a number of turnovers.

Gotta be Zach. His plus-minus was +21 (next highest was Williams at +9). Five steals (team high, tied Perkins), 7 rebounds (only Tillie higher), 19 points in only 29 minutes played. Perkins and Norvell had the same team-leading EFF rating (24), but Norvell did it in 13 fewer minutes. No contest.

Even though Norvell still makes his share of turnovers, it is less and less. With Perkins it seems like the poor decisions at times keep the turnover rate significant this year. Also, Zach has the ego, you can tell he wants to be aggressive under pressure. I used to think Cory would end up our go to guy, but now I am thinking he may still, but Zach is showing up under pressure. Hard to argue with that. Had to vote Zach.

I basically hate his percentage but Norvell has the fight and the nuts to win a game.

It was close between Norvell and Perkins, but Perkins was clutch there at the end so I voted for him. I too have to give kudos to the broadcast crew. Without the head jokester they sounded very professional, in fact, it didn't even seem too forced with 3 in the booth.

Went with Norvell. He stepped up to influence the game when I thought the team had thrown in the towel.

Perks - I just flat out like Perkins and more all the time.
Norvell - He's one hungry BB player! The kid would take on a whole team by himself (if given 1/2 the chance) - he's fearless.

Overall .... I really, really like this Zag bunch. I like the way they struggle and find ways to score or rattle a team on D. They come off as an eclectic bunch who are learning what they can do and willing to try different things (and not always with the hoped for outcome). I think with each game they're learning key elements to who they are, what they can do and will be more than able to put all that together better and better through WCC play. Go Zags!

Josh...but Melson is very steady ...

I have to go with what Perkins said in hi is post game interview and say that both Jones and Hachimura get G unit. It was their energy that turned the tide in the game.
