Koach with his annual “dump.” Not even coaching. Serves to build character and douse overconfidence. BC fight song among top 5. Bagley was strolling most of game.

So my co-worker and I were watching the end of the game and I said that I was raised with the premise that "to be the best, you have to beat the best". So I guess my complaint with all of the Duke players is that they ascribe to the philosophy of "to be the best, you have to join the best", i.e the Kevin Durant principle. I'd much rather recruit kids that want to slay the giant, not join him.

Is that why we don't have any players from Australia? lol

Conference play can't come soon enough for the Badgers.

Enjoyed Duke losing primarily because of stupid mistakes.

Army-Navy football game looks fun. One needs a good snow game once a year.

Looking like another crazy, unpredictable year in college hoops. Always nice to see the Dukies lose. Why were they playing an ACC game in early December? Or was this some kind of weird scheduling where they were playing another league member but it's not a conference game?

And Wisconsin losing (again) on the same day. Been a great day already and it's barely after noon.

Just watched Canisius get HOMERED @ Evansville........some of the WORST REF's to date...... this will be an interesting year as far as the 'stripes' whistles go! Otherwise entertaining game ruined by the zebra's.

Duke’s problem is Duvall. He dies on literally every single ball screen...flat out won’t fight through it. With the rim protection Hey have their man d should be formidable, but Duvall is just horrendous defensively.

SDSU is losing to lowly Cal. Aztecs need to win that one.

I mentioned this two times already.....Duke is a team without a leader. Their leader is supposed to be Grayson Allen, which means, basically, that they don't have a leader. It's reflected not only in today's loss to BC, but also in their failure to annihilate low major competition at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke, more than any program in the nation, takes pride in absolutely destroying their low major opponents by 50 to 60 pts. Go back thru their schedules of the past and you will see this pattern. They don't beat low majors by 18 points. Also, it's turning out that their comeback wins against Texas and Florida were more of an issue of their casual approach towards the game.

A Duke fan told me recently that despite all that talent on that roster, he's never seen a Duke team that cares less about winning. They don't have leadership on the floor. Unless you have a transcendent talent like Carmelo, college basketball has proven that freshmen can't be leaders. This is going to be an issue all season long for the Dukies despite having national championship caliber talent and one of the greatest coaches in history on the sideline.

I'm still not sure what to make of Arizona. I think their dismal performance in the Bahamas was an aberration. Followed that up w/ 3 straight wins--@ UNLV, vs. Texas A&M in Phoenix, and Alabama in Tucson. They didn't look great in any of the game but they got W's. I think all 3 are quality wins. 7-3 now. Rawle Alkins played tonight for the first time this year. Not real balanced scoring--29 for Ayton, 25 for Trier, I think only 1 other player in double figures.

Ayten is only 19. I remember coaching against him when he was 14 years old. You could tell then that he was going to be special.

I think it all starts at the top and the Arizona players reflect their coaches intensity ...they have just refused to lose these last few games even when a lot of teams would have given up...good on them and him...

Oh come on, he's an 18 year old kid that looks like he's about 35 just like Greg Oden was his Freshman year. Even bears a bit of resemblance to Oden. Although I don't think he has busted up knees/ankles/whatever like Oden did, so he should be a fairly safe lottery pick.

Deandre Ayton, like Greg Oden, looks like he's 50 year's old. Arizona is still not all the way back yet, but they've had 3 nice wins in a row. Nice to see they are at full health now.

I will be at Zona's next game, IN PERSON, on 12/16 at the Pit in ABQ at the University of New Mexico. The arena is going to be absolutely nuts. I cannot wait. My Dad runs the HVAC system at the arena (for some extra retirement bucks).....he has to prepare for a sold out house. I am particularly psyched to see Ayton who will be, without a doubt, one of the best college players I have witnessed in person in my lifetime.
