Melson carried the team in the first half. Tillie with a solid game. I'm going Norvell though, took over the 2nd half when the Zags made their surge.

Melson for me. Great first half offensively and terrific defense throughout.
Tillie and Norvell with big second half’s will keep this vote from being a runaway.

I loved how ZN rebounded in the second half and really came out with some energy but I voted for Melson. He kept this game from being a rout with his excellent three point shooting. Plus he did a fantastic job of shutting down their best offensive player in the second half. Tillies dunk was incredible.

I've gotta go wit team. Tillie was great. Melson kept us in it. Norvell blossomed in the second half.

I give it to those three.

Silas was incredible tonight and stepped up from jump
but voted Zach! to turn it around so comprehensively after a truly awful first half on both ends of the floor was special and a joy to watch that young man emerge tonight

Tillie, but a great team win!

Melson was GUnit of the first half. Norvell was GUnit of the second. Tillie was GUnit of the game. He led the team in points, rebounds, and blocks. That dunk was the team’s best of the year.

tillie, TILLIE, TILLIE

Tillie was the most consistent, big props for Melson esp 1st half and Norvell who found his way out of the dog house in the 2nd half. great effort by all.

Melson kept this game from getting out of hand early, he gets my vote.

Shocked Silas is getting so little love here. Without his offense in the first half, I doubt we’d have been in range to make such a run. His defense in the second half led the effort.

I'm biased towards bigs, and with that I say Tillie.

Tillie was incredible, but I don’t know if Zags are in the game without Melson. A huge shout out to Norvell; takes a lot of mental toughness to turn around your game at half like that.

Silas for me also. He is just so workman-like!

Tillie - High points and rebounds with 3 assists and only one TO!

Zach had a super second half...

Melson had the great first half that kept us in the game...

IMO the play of the game was the pass from Melson to JWIII to start the second half

BUT TEAM defence in the 2nd half won the game...

Novell Jr. was the reason Gonzaga pulled away from Creighton. He's my POG.

Without Silas in the first half, we're down 15 or more

Without Norvelle in the second half we may not win.

Got to go with Silas because he played well in the second half, too - didn't need to score, did other things

i voted for Tillie as he played so great on defense, and overall just a tough game for him. I had Melson a close second as he too played a great game and especially on defense. These two players are really really tough.

A part of me wanted to vote for Norvell because he scored 21 points in that second half, but the others were just a hair better, Great game Mr Norvell. Keep it up.

Tillie Tillie! Played a full game on both ends of court. Can’t stop grinning about performance from a Melson and Norvell too.

I voted Melson because without his first half scoring Zags easily could’ve been down by 20 and confidence shattered.

So balanced, but I'm going with Melson. Was the most efficient shooter, 7 of 8, and kept us in it in the first half.

I went Norvell... but could have easily gone Melson or Tillie as well. Zach just lit the Jays up in the second half.

I wish I could vote for Silas, Zach and Killian but voted for Tilley. Those volleyball moves are killer good

Tillie by narrowest of margins - blocks and 24 sec call defense along with tough boards
Norvell clear 2nd - that's the guy I expected him to be in the second half
Melson - crazy good first half, started to fall back into his normal self in 2nd half

Norvellís offensive rebounding directly led to the Zags breaking away from Creighton. That with his second half shooting were critical to the Zagís win.

Tillie is so fun to watch because he always seems to be around the ball on the defensive end - love to watch his blocks, and that dunk he had tonight - that was great. Hard choice tonight, but because of his versatility, I had to go with Tillie...

Norvell is big and uses his body well in the lane....always draws contact and finishes strong....

Second half defense was soooooo much better.....didn’t go for shot fakes

Wish I’d though of that!

I voted for The Posterizer with the gorgeous stat line. 3 blocks!

Honorable Mention: Melson and Norvell

Perkins was still a pretty good floor general despite his problems with Thomas.

Melson tonight. Without his 1st half scoring we are down 15+, as stated earlier in this thread. Plus, we are getting spoiled by his consistently great D.

Tillie is just plain good............

Breakout performance by Norvell tonight, loved that Coach gave him some rope after his poor first half. Zach redeemed himself admirably in the 2nd half.

Great job by the entire team to pick Josh up when he didn't have his best tonight!!!

Go ZAGS

Melson player of the game for the first half, Norvell for the second and my vote for the entire game opening tip to final buzzer is Tillie.

My cursor hovered over Melson for the longest time but I selected Zach due to his awesome 2nd half. Melson and Tillie both deserve a share of the Unit pie as well. Pretty darn neat when other teammates can step up and play when in need to do so. This team has got one another's back! Pretty amazing season thus far and ..... Villanova up next! Nothing like March type excitement early in a season! Go Zags!

This is probably the toughest GUnit vote in years. You had three guys all have career nights. I vote for Melson because pressureís been on him to step up (though same goes for Norvell) and Iím sure he had a sour taste in his mouth after PK80 and the missed free throw. But great game by several guys in a must-win situation where traditional scoring leaders were struggling.

Melson first half
Zach second half
But I voted Tillie for the whole game. Offense and defense was stellar.

Tillie filled up the stat line. Great games from Melson and Norvell. Quality depth is growing; up to 8 or 9 provides flexibility. Glad Corey able to rest. Make no mistake — Creighton is a good, scrappy team and will likely have a dance ticket.

Go Zags!

Melson
consistent throughout,
not cold and bad shot selection in first half, then explodes later which was Zach
