Anyone know who's calling the game?

Sean Farnham is one of them.

Please no Dakich no please.

Last game with Dakich I turned the sound off completely, put the closed caption on but only read it when there was a foul situation I didn't understand or something like that.

It's not ideal whatsoever, muted games don't have the feel. But, he angers me so often that it was much better. The color guys that annoy me, I can take, but he angers me.

Sean (Davenport) Farnham has a boy with some health problems who will have his 13th Birthday at the Kennell....

Farnham is tiring too

At one point he went into a segment about how Norvell made a sacrifice by red-shirting last year, unaware he was recovering from an injury.

Farnham showed his prejudice quite clearly tonight when He said that the Zags weren't a Final Four team, at least right. Do these analysts ever do their homework before announcing a game. The Zags have played two top 25 teams, losing to #6 Florida in double overtime, and clobbering Creighton #23 by seventeen.

Let’s not get carried away ... Farnham has been pretty “pro Gonzaga” over the years. Saying GU isn’t FF “yet” is not an unfair assessment. FF is the pinnacle of college basketball... even Farnham said, “there is a lot of basketball yet to be played before a March”.

Is it just me or are the commentators having a horrible time going off topic so far this year? It seems like no one is interested in calling the game anymore.

This!,
There were several fouls and a couple of turnover calls made in the game with 0 commentary! I hate that. Farnham is a "friend" of Gonzaga, but like so many he has a tendency to babble incessantly. I thought he settled down a little in the 2nd half. A game like that was worthy of more analysis, less social blabbing.

They were B plus. Far better than the Dakich......and our guys. A win is plenty of lipstick, however.

Give me the 3 stooges any day over the espn 'talent.' Love the personal GU connection.

At least they avoided the Walton Syndrome of bickering and insulting each other....and talking about the Missoula Floods and the Grateful Dead Concerts...

Not a single mention of Kispert injury or a Zag starter being out.

I also have a strong sense that on air talent this year is particularly avoiding play by play comment. It’s all this babble without noting who drew a foul or who was just subbed in or what the injury report on Kispert is. I know it is a personal thing but it just feels like noise to me. Argh! (Sorry.)

Let's face it: ESPN fired their best talent. The three stooges are better than what ESPN has delivered.

with Fox and Dickau I love the personal connection too, I trust them and know they're pulling for the Zags. if the game crew is not down with the Zags, I find that to be distracting and annoying and difficult to give 2 hours of my ears for

I don't mind some of the talking through 3 possessions about cancer, ..
but I like to know who was called for which fouls, and what the fouls were

I think that Sean is pretty good. He's probably my favorite ESPN analyst besides Fran. The top guy will always be Billy Raff for me.

I just think three man booths are too much for college basketball. Dickau sounds awkward to me. I'd rather just have Fox (who is fantastic) and Heister. I think the two man booth keeps Heister better in check as well. They get back to the game quicker after Heister does his Subway ad where he expounds upon the virtues of their meatball sandwich which once put a co-worker of mine in the hospital with severe food poisoning.
