Biggest news from tonight's contest is the uncertainty regarding #24, Corey Kispert, who left the game after an awkward alley-oop play in the first half and was shown with his left shoe off late in the telecast.

The bench had plenty of minutes tonight as Coach Few rested his starters.

A number of players are deserving of tonight's player of the game selection. Which one is yours ??

I voted for Rui. He's beginning to come alive. For the second straight game he led the team in scoring. He hit a couple of outside shots tonight. I'm lovin his play.

Close second to Norvell with 17 points. He was the second highest scorer. He looked how I envisioned him to play after we recruted him a year or so ago. He scored both inside and outside. He also hit two three's tonight.

Perkins.

Perfect from the floor, 3 assists, 2 steals and no turnovers......

Perky was good but 18 pts in 16 minutes for Rui is pretty amazing....

Starters barely broke a sweat tonight. I'll give it to the bench. 18 for Rui, 17 for Norvell, 14 for Larsen. That's pretty darn good production for 3 non-starters.

Have to give it to Perkins for filling up the stat sheet, with Rui and Norvell tied for 2nd right behind Josh.

I had to go with Norvell, not so much that his performance in all depts. was way above rui and Perkins, but because he played within Few's system, distributed constantly and lots of really good passes and some good assists. He and Rui are both getting it, and it is nice to see them playing from within their roles.

I like this post a lot because I noticed that too and I’m rooting for ZN. I think he’ll get better and better.

I voted for Josh.

Norvell was able to get enough play to get into the groove. Hoping this is his turning point.

Mrs. TZF (and Big D's "Nana") can be seen in the second row, right behind Zach's Z). She caught Zag fever in a big way during our time there. Something magical about that campus.

I voted for Perks. His shooting was crazy. I felt he ran things quite well and no TOs :)
Also .... Tacos!

Perkins did it all, but Rui was great too. Starters did well in limited minutes, and bench looked good in expanded playing time. Except for the injury and the absent Kennel, a very good evening.

Perkins sets the tone. Vote there.
Rui close.

What a team. So impressed early on this season
