Section 116

I debated posting this in the men's basketball forum but I thought there would be widespread interest in this "inside" look at what has led to the decline of the marquee sports programs, football and men's basketball at BYU. A rather long but insightful look at why BYU can't win. Mods, feel free to move to a more appropriate forum: https://www.deseretnews.com/article/865693183/The-rise-and-fall-An-inside-look-at-the-decline-of-BYUs-marquee-sports-programs.html

So Emery left due to an NCAA investigation not a personal reason. Hmmmm.

Old news, jazz. You weighed in on it nearly a month ago in the linked thread below:

great read, thanks for posting

In other words, Pac-12 schools lean far to the left politically and weren't open to the inclusion of a conservative church school, never mind all the talk about diversity.

funny...would say it's BYU's diversity issues that are more the issue than the Pac12s, not their conservative anything...USC is in the Pac12

Couldn't happen to a more deserving school.

You mean the cost of systematic homophobia and hypocritical moralizing is being refused entry into a big bucks conference? Tragic.

I recall. But wasn’t the stated reason he actually quit school marital issues?
