Perkins kept us in the game in the first half when we looked like we might not be able to keep our head above water.

Lots of mistakes in thaat first 10 minutes were covered up by 4 thee pointers

JWIII finished very strong, but Perkins set the tone early and had a great game...

Perk was great. No doubt for me: Josh is GUnit!

Perk had one of his best games as a Zag. He made some huge plays to build that halftime lead.

No doubt about it, Perkins set the tone early and really stepped up tonight. Honorable mention to JWIII.

jw3 scored a bunch when the game was no longer in doubt, and ouch 6 turnovers! but liked the 5 of 7 at the line.

Perks game no doubt but Tillie is a workhorse and a key factor IMO. 11 rebs, plays hard, dives and fights for a loose ball.

I went with Perkins too, Williams a close second. Tillie gets the lunch pale award. He's so tough.

Other big time players stepped up, but Josh - even picked by the announcer when he kept burning his son (LOL) kept commenting on how great of a game Josh had/ and it seems he is making a big step up this year! Great game Zags!!!

Easy vote for Perks. Looked good shooting and I liked how he worked to get Kispert involved, got his confidence up.

Josh P. if he can become consistent with the 3, and this year he sure is so far, he is a dagger.
Could not go with JWIII because he and Norvell not only hunt their shorts, but force them. When JWIII is double covered, he needs to look for pass outlets. Instead he makes his predictable moves and tries to bull his way through it. He is not a five, even when he is playing the five. Too small and short for that. When the zags are zipping passes around quickly, forcing the opponent to try to catch their breath and balance, as soon as JWIII receives a pass the ball stops moving, and he starts thinking about what to do to act like a 5. Norvell could use some of Perkins' and Melson's focus on finding open people, even though he is a great 3 pt shooter, he should still only take good shots, and pass up some of the shots he takes off balance or when well defended.

Josh was the man, but I voted for Larsen as my sentimental favorite. I love what he brings to the table for this team.

It goes to the most under-appreciated PG in the country and as Coach Few said one of the nation's elite shooters. Not only did he shoot down OSU, but the D he has been playing all year is just the very definition of elite and along with Silas, they form the greatest defense backcourt in Zags history.
