With USC and Arizona under federal scrutiny and UCLA players facing possible prison time in China will it be views as a good thing to recruits that we play in the WCC.

It is very difficult to criticize a kid for choosing those schools. The big money flagship universities have good (some great) academics, beautiful campuses, football fed athletic departments, and some of them have great weather.

They'll be fine.

No. WCC is still said with an eye roll by just about everyone. Doesn't matter where the league ranks every year, the stigma is there and not going away no matter how many big name leagues slide downward.

That being said, being the red headed step child of the basketball world is what made Gonzaga what it is today, so embrace it, play with a chip, beat the teams we arent supposed to beat and enjoy it, cause it aint changing.

The real thing here is that Gonzaga is becoming more and more the premier program on te west coast. All the turmoil at these schools will only serve to propel a program that is solely focused on its own continued improvement. Let others do what they will do, and get noticed for what you do well on your own.
