While this article by Gary Parrish was noted on this Board when it first came out, it's timeliness regarding the ongoing MBB corruption scandal makes it worth revisiting:

A month ago, CBSsports.com published the results of a poll in which over 100 men’s basketball coaches were asked this question: Who is the high-major coach you genuinely believe does everything by the book and operates completely within the NCAA’s rule book? Eight coaches received at least five votes. Michigan’s John Beilein got the most votes. Notre Dame’s Mike Brey was second, and Virginia’s Tony Bennett and Wisconsin’s Greg Gard tied for third. Gonzaga’s Mark Few was fifth. Michigan State’s Tom Izzo and Ohio State’s Chris Holtman tied for sixth, and Kansas State’s Bruce Weber was eighth.

Missing from the "winner's circle" of the survey were such luminaries as Louisville's Rick Pitino, UT's Shaka Smart, USC's Andy Enfield, Arizona"s Sean Miller, Auburn's Bruce Pearl, OSU's Brad Underwood, Alabama's Avery Johnson, SDSU's Steve Fisher, South Carolina"s Frank Martin, and Kansas' Bill Self, all of whom have had their names floated about due to their assistant coaches' conduct, their alleged recruiting tactics, or their cozy association with Adidas.
