Guru has added a Utah State game to his published schedule:

Gonzaga will likely host Utah State in a non-bracketed home game as a part of the PK80: Phil Knight Invitational. Utah State is the last team mentioned to be a part of the visitors’ bracket of the tournament. By process of elimination, Utah State should have to travel to play both Gonzaga and Portland State.

Looking at the sked, I would expect the Texas Southern game to appear after finals week just before the SDSU game. Finals week starts on 12/11. Do we know for sure that Howard is the first game of the season?? There's probably room before the Howard game (or just after it) to add a Big Sky opponent or something.

That should complete the schedule.

I like how Utah State was added. They will provide a stiffer challenge than a low major school, but the Zags don't have to return the game.

For the future, I would like to see Gonzaga take a swing at Indiana for a home and home series. Archie Miller is the best coach IU has had since Knight. The Zags are on very good terms with his brother at Arizona. He's a new head coach at a high pressure job. I think IU would agree to such an arrangement. Another legendary program could appear at the Kennel. I'd love to see the Hoosiers come to Spokane.
