Sam Amick ✔ @sam_amick
Lots of interest for Kelly Olynyk, I'm told, with Nets, Pacers, Kings, Jazz coming on strong. Pacers are trying to shed salary to land him

So this can actually happen. :D

Outside chance at him in Portland as well, Collins and Olynyk

Indiana just waived Monta Ellis.

Clearing space for KO?

Wont save them any cap space according to twitter, fully on the hook for the last 2 years of his deal as no buyout was reached and no one else likely to pick him off waivers and claim his deal.

No?
They are using the stretch provision to stretch that remaining $11.2M for 5 years.
Pacer's can afford up to $22M per for KO. I don't think he goes that high but people are talking over $15M per year.
Jazz seem to be pushing hard too - I really like him next to Gobert.

Great score, great location, decent team, young coach, no state tax. I think it's a win all around.

Nice pay raise and a chance to start.

The Heat have a great culture. Spoelstra and Riley are winners. Really looking forward to watching KO take his game (and team?) to the next level. Olynyk's skillset is perfect complement to Whitehead's. Whitehead an elite rim protector and defender, KO a potentially elite scorer and passer.

I think KO might not have been able to showcase his full talents with the Celtics, and I think it might change in Miami.
