Take this with a grain of salt, please.
But I don't think we should skew this voting. This seems like a local issue.
I'm sure the other kids without the backing of a busy college forum are just as worthy. Plus, this is for athlete of the year and Corey barely played due to his foot injury.

            Just my two cents.

              My .02 cents

Kispert is part of the Zag family who was a great supporter and contributor to his team before injury and after the injury.

My idea of a great athlete is not just what he contributes to the program on the court but also off the court.

If it helps you support a Zag -- the Sports staff selects the Athlete of the Year-- but the online voting winners will be recognized also.

"The Herald’s 2017 High School Athletes of the Year, selected by the Sports staff, will be announced later this month. The winners of the online voting also will be recognized at that time."

I voted from three devices and it appears they each registered as you could see the vote total increase after each (up to 215 now). However, it does not look like multiple votes from same divice will register.. FWIW

I'm not voting either. I haven't seen him play. I haven't seen the others play. Thus, I'm not qualified to vote. So, I don't want to skew the voting just because he happens to be a future Zag.

I'm just going to go out on a limb and say that I suspect most of these guys are getting blind support from classmates and HS alumni simply based on the school name after their name. In fact I'd bet 85-90% of the votes are likely coming from people who have NOT seen any of these kids play their respective sports.

Imo, internet polls are internet polls. Not scientific, purely popularity based.
