RIP. A really important man to the city of Spokane (hey, that rhymes :)). My heart goes out to John and the entire family. He lived a really good life and touched the hearts of a lot of people.

Will never forget Jack's Irish jig when Zags got to dance the first time. A true character

Nice man. I used to see him in St. Al's every Sunday. Same Mass, same seat. A couple of years ago I introduced myself and told him my dad's name. Dad spent a great many hours in Jack and Dan's, so was well known to Jack. In fact, I think he was one of the pall bearers at Dad's funeral.

So many of the old stalwarts are gone.

So many of the old stalwarts are gone.

And, fittingly on a Memorial Day weekend, "we" (royal) in the Gonzaga community, need a way to make sure their commitment to building this "thing" we love, isn't forgotten.

My 87 yro mil goes to all the womens games and Jack was always there and they talked.....what is amazing is how some people can be totally involved in life in their 80's and 90's and others want to sit in a rocking chair at age 65....

stay involved.....you life is better for it and you'll probably live longer....

90 yrs old.....yes, a life well lived...

I haven't seen any rocking chairs at the wineries I've visited. lol

Grandkids are a great way to stay connected with the world.
