All tournament long and again tonight

Unsung stats

Shut down thornwell tonight with 33% shooting 15 points ( 12 under tourney average) and 5 rebounds (7 under tourney average)

Key to win imo
Key to tournament to date IMO

Yes, we were pretty clutch at the free throw line down the stretch. So huge.

Just like with Xavier, the Zags have shown again and again that they can take out the big time offensive threat.

The problem is that the teams in the next game have multiple offensive threats, and if it's UNC, GU hasn't faced a player like Justin Jackson all season. The 6-7, athletic, scorer with a huge wingspan. I don't know who guards him because UNC starts 2 legit big men that JWIII and Karno will have to guard.

I hope Thornwell is one of the players in the post game presser. Can't wait to hear what he says. He was quoted prior to the game as saying "I think Gonzaga is really nervous right now". I wonder what he thinks about our D now after a 4/12 performance.

Those two plus nwg and Collins protecting the rim...wow.

fun to watch
Zags with lots of different looks defensively for him, switching screens, not switching, switching off the ball, zone, and I'm sure more

As to CDCs question Consider J3 on Jackson and play Collins and karno/tillie. Our guards can handle theirs. IMO

Silas played really well, handled the pressure of a big game like the vet he is. Contributed instantly when he entered the game.

maybe we will have to play tillie or Williams some of the time
on Monday, at the 3, to match up with Justin (I want to call him Justin dagger).
That guy is an athlete and can shoot accurately while diagonal in the air.

Is it weird that two trips to the free-throw line were my two favorite plays from this game? I am so proud of JW3 and Tillie.

His confidence on the court is great to see after a rough start to the season. Perfect time to peak. Whole team effort. One game left on a magical season. Go Zags
