For Nigel, who said his coach deserved GU's final four more than him:

For Karno, who left behind his beloved family in Poland to become the biggest winner in NCAA history. And who is lucky to even be walking properly. The Gonzaga family helped him heal and recover:

College basketball is increasingly full of people who want it to be "about them."

Coaches, broadcasters, boosters, and even officials who make every effort to be in the spotlight and demand attention whenever possible.

And then you have Mark Few. Since 1989 Coach Few has put in countless hours of work for the betterment of Gonzaga basketball, Spokane, and most of all the young men on his team. And when this finally culminates in a trip to college basketball's ultimate weekend, when all of his hard work is finally recognized and praised....he gracefully acknowledges the acclaim and deflects it toward his players. Those of us who follow the program closely know that for the thousands of people who have helped make this run possible, one man stands at the top. But for Mark Few, it has never been about him. And that makes me appreciate him even more than I appreciate his 502nd victory. Here's to 503 and 504.

You could literally show a picture of Few hugging every single player he has ever coached over his time with the Zags and get the same feeling of love and respect. We as fans of Gonzaga basketball are so very lucky and fortunate to have these great players and just good overall young men to watch and cheer for every single season..No matter whether your a starter or sitting on the bench you have made what Zag basketball is all about. Family...... Gives me goose bumps looking at these pics..

Can you imagine grown men at some Fortune 500 company doing what the men in these photos are doing because profits in the 3rd quarter went up 5%? I sure can't.

It's one of the things that makes competitive sports so special.

So have some more IPA and tacos.
