I am curious about why Gonzaga has been given the early game every time. The first game I thought, OK, they'll get the late game on Sat, but no!

Now it seems that they have the San Jose game starting before the Kansas City Game. It seems to me that it would make more sense to reverse those.

It won't matter when the Zags win and get to the EE, just wondering why.

Tv ratings?

Tv ratings?

That's my guess. Cincy's rank is 36 and Spokane is #73. Kansas and Oregon are two P5 schools with national followings.

It did make me feel better that GU-NW scored a 4 in the DFW market last weekend, while the Mavericks have been unable to crack 1.

And the saga of Tony Romo's next destination consumes the majority of the talk on sports talk stations in the Metroplex.

One of the leads on 105.3 has yet to learn the pronunciation of Gonzaga. I think he's doing it on purpose.

Disappointed that TBS is covering it. My Dad and millions of Americans, contrary to popular belief, don't have cable or dish. Too costly. But sharing with Turner is what allows us to watch all the games, so I am willing to put up with it.

Can't see how Oregon wins tomorrow. Kansas is playing so well, the game is in KC, and they are very lucky they got past Michigan. A couple of defensive screw ups, including leaving a top class 3 point shooter wide open for the last shot.

They also don't have frontline size and depth to take advantage of KU's biggest weakness.

I was thinking the same thing today. Just a continuation of the "no respect" tour from the tv media. Their numbers say not enough "eyeballs" to watch the Zogs from Spo-Cane. East Coast thinks we still mill flour out here with horses!

Will anyone beat the UCONN women's team this year or have they become the Harlem Globetrotters?

I think Geno's greatest advantage other than getting a majority of the best players is that he doesn't have to wear high heels during games.

Exact opposite of Thursday's tilt. Can't wait for this to start more from anticipation than nerves.

Pregame: I like The Jet's take: X is a tailor-made team for GU. I like Chuck's concern but think GU comes out firing. These kids want it. Need it. Get it.

Curious if sideline reporter only covers GU's opponents....That is my feeling at least.

If Oregon losses its big deal does it mean they haven't had enough close games against good teams to be ready for this stage? Paging Mr. Walton. Mr. Moonbeam Walton.

Unfortunately he's a chucker too

The fact that he's shooting 50% from the field and 41% from 3, along with the fact that he's been a superb playmaker for others all year, make that a truly idiotic statement. Your second recently, following the Perkins comment.

He's the leader of that team. Bell/Dorsey have followed his lead.

I think we can safely declare this one of the greatest sports days in our beloved Maynard's life.

We started the season together my friend, and as we took our seats at the San Diego State game, I'll never forget you surveying our team as they warmed up, seeing some of our guys for the first time, and declaring right there and then, "Ok, now we look like a top 10 power team, big, strong, fast."

You do know your ball.
