The block shot by Perkins with 1:00 on clock was HUGE - it lead to Mathews 3 Pointer with :57 left in game. WV had stole ball from Goss and nathan adrian had a point blank layin that would have put WV ahead by 3 points with a minute left in game and a chance to set up there defense and possibly squeeze us out for the win. HUGE block from behind by Perkins

Great point Demian.

Quality over quantity in the blocks department.

Wow, I didn't realize that was Perkins...thought it was JWIII. Definitely the great play that made the great shot by Matthews possible.

Perkins was solid tonight. He really helped manage the WVU press, playing within himself, and was vital defensively. Defense was at a premium tonight.

Weird stat line for Perkins, no FG attempts 3 for 4 at the line 4 rebounds yada yada yada. He basically played error free but no attempts was strange. Helluva game for him

That's ok. Sometimes I wonder if you are too.:)

Seriously, Perkins' floor vision was a major asset v the press, even if he didn't score. Could have had several assists if open shots went in.

Perkins had 1 attempt I remember, the up and under that he missed in the 2nd half.

Thought he played well against the press. No bad turnovers that I can remember.

According to Tom Hudson, on post game radio, Perkins was sick today and tonight but I haven't been able to verify or get any further info.

I think that was the game winner also! It would have been real tough down 3 plus them getting there defense set with a minute to go

Thanks. Heard this also, which makes his play against a tough team like WVU even more important.

Perkins was awesome tonight. I'd like him to shoot more if open but he was a stud IMO. The block on the big man saved the season and led to the biggest play off the season.

Josh was solid all night. Made good decisions., handled the ball a lot and only one turnover. Very focused on D. Nice work young man!

I think he will make some big shots on Saturday.

for all the hate coming his way before this game...perkins was really solid handling the ball. he still needs to contribute some scoring though...

That pass that NWG threw to Jordan for the amazing three was slightly deflected by the defender. I mean, if the defender had gotten maybe two more inches of his finger on that ball, Jordan probably doesn't even get a shot up.

I stopped and looked at the rerun at that point because the play was unclear to me. I thought that block was pretty important. Perkins was ferocious on D tonight.

If Perkins does what he did tonight, gonzaga has a good chance at hitting a Final 4. Sure, we know he can be better... But this is a team that needs to go inside more than shoot 3's, so I'm good with him playing how he did tonight.

Same for me. Congrats to JP and SM. Both played solid!
