Zags end regular season at No. 2 in both major polls -- not too shabby.

And just in case you're experiencing anxiety in the run-up to Thursday, have a few moments of pure joy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AC7UBpimsu0

Fast forward to about 1:14 if you don't have lots of time -- never gets old.

Really sweet to see Gonzaga rewarded. Need to play the tournament like an 11 or 12 seed. Hungry without any highlight attempt TO's. FT% has to be up there in the low 80's to win.

IMHO of course! #runthetable

It's fun to scroll through the final poll and say "They beat that team, and that team (in a closed gym scrimmage) and that team, and that team, and that team (three times...)

It's still just amazing to me how everything went right for the Zags in the last minute or so. It's also interesting to see how active Few was in the huddles giving instructions and directing traffic. Really more so than Monson, and certainly a harbinger of the next season and beyond. Monson's palpable shock as time expires is fantastic. On the flipside Donovan started looking very tight with about 5:00 to go. I'm sure his team picked up the vibe.

Have to admit, I found myself thinking - I think they could take this year's zags. Probably just caught up in the moment. Or....

Loved that team though.

They need to play like a 1 seed. Prove to everybody they deserved it and were one of the best teams all year.

You are not alone. Had the same feeling. With respect to intensity and cohesion I think they could. Clearly the best Zag TEAM ever, setting a standard subsequent editions have been reaching for ever since.
