I like his chances...

Should be between Few and Collins. How Self and Pitino make that list is beyond me when they load up on top 20 recruits so yeah of course they should win games. I'd support Richard Pitino on that list over Rick...

I had to look up whether it took into account the NCAA tourney, and though couldn't find direct straight answer, it sounds like it surely does. So, Few's chances seem wholly dependent upon a deep run, FF - elite 8 at the absolute least.

It's Collins or Few to me, no question. I'm sorry, but if you have a returning player who is the favorite for preseason player of their year(jay wright) you don't deserve coach of the year unless that player goes down.

It shouldn't even be close between Few and Collins and if it is......Collins has not taken NW to every NCAA tourney for 18 years

It will be Collins if NW makes the tournament as expected and Gonzaga doesn't go to the Final Four.

Collins a shoo in with support from half the country's sport scribes who are NW grads, or wannabes, or drove thru Evanston once ....

Excellent point. Huge portion of news writers from NW, just like huge portion of TV reporters from Syracuse. Plus, NW is in Chicago and B1G, GU is in someplace that's not Chicago (or even Seattle) and in a conference w/o football.
