Interesting take on Jock Landale vs. NWG for POY (basically says Landale rated slightly higher, but since SMC's pace is so SLOOOOOW, his success is hidden until you look at the stats).

Surprised BYU is that low after beating us. Yes, lost to USD ....still can't believe ....sigh.

BYU's chances are hurt a ton by the fact that St. Mary's is in their half of the bracket and GU and St. Mary's are such huge favorites relative to the rest of the field. There is a 95% chance they will play St. Mary's in the semis (if they beat LMU) and a 95% chance they would play GU in the finals if they beat St. Mary's. It's close to 90% that for BYU to win the finals they would have to beat both St. Mary's and GU. If they get to the finals, their odds of beating us are still below 10% but a lot better than 1.6%.

Well I mean they did have to have the luckiest game of their life to barely beat us lol
