Title: Georgetown in a tough spot with John Thompson III

http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/18790334/georgetown-tough-spot-john-thompson-iii-john-thompson-looms

"I love the school, and he's a really, really good man," one former Hoya said of JT3. "But he's just not getting it done."

In 2008, there was a legitimate excuse. After all, that Georgetown team ran into Davidson and a kid named Steph Curry in the NCAA tournament.

For the Zags, that was one of the storied "collapses" on our NCAA resume.

Good one, Tex

Here's the thing. The alternative is that nobody knows what a Zag is and nobody knows where Spokane is. The disrespect is epic only because of the success of the program. I'm hoping for a breakthrough to the Final Four this year because they are more than legit. But, even if it happens there will still be idiots out there giving the Zag program free advertising. Let them whine...or eat cake..or..eh, whatever.

90 miles vs. 250 is the same? Your point is well taken, though.

Georgetown has the resources to hire the best....and be the best in that conference...I would have loved to have gone there...not that they would have let me..... and it was too far from my Mommy....
