There seems to be a lot of these threads showing up recently. It would probably be a lot easier if everything was kept in one place.

So for any and all GU road games, please post all links, prices, sale dates, rumors, etc regarding tickets in this thread.

Thanks!

It is very UNLIKEY that any reserved seating will be available when single game GU tickets @ SMC officially go on sale. And the # of GA tix will probably be very small.

Just to add ... a friend in Spokane tried to get tix via GU. Looks like they are only available via UAA (lothar's link). This might differ for season tix holders. I just don't know.

Also ... noon AST = 1pm PST ... see woohoo for other time zone info.

According to Rubbadub, tix go on sale Nov 1.

I've also been told by their ticket manager that single game tickets go on sale on Nov. 1. Unfortunately, he also told me that he expects to sell out to season ticket holders, students & staff. They will keep a waiting list, but he doesn't expect that many from that list will get tickets.

USD's 3-game package, which includes the GU game on Feb 18th, goes on sale next Monday (Oct 22, 07) for $33. This will guarantee a seat to see our Zags vs waiting until Feb 14, 2008 to buy an individual ticket to the game (if any are still available).

See you all there! GO ZAGS!!!

The 72nd Annual O'Reilly All-College Basketball Classic

The classic will take place on Dec. 20, 2007, in the Ford Center in Oklahoma City . Pitting brother versus brother, Oklahoma State University and Coach Sean Sutton will face Oral Roberts University and their coach, younger brother Scott Sutton, making this the first head coach-sibling rivalry in All-College history. The University of Oklahoma and second year coach Jeff Capel will then take on Mark Few's always talented Gonzaga Bulldogs in the classic's featured game.

The first game will begtin at 6:00 p.m. with the second game scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m., both games will be televised live on ESPN2. The O'Reilly All-College Basketball Classic is the world's oldest basketball tournament, outdating even the NCAA, NIT, NAIA and the NBA tournaments.

The classic will be accompanied by the return of the York International Basketball Adventure, which will take place in the Cox Business Services Convention Center . This is an interactive family basketball festival that will feature food, entertainment, basketball clinics and more on December 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The All-College Dinner on December 19 will tip-off the classic. "Gonzaga Tickets

Background - Gonzaga Bulldogs

How about these win totals the last seven seasons: 24, 28, 26, 26, 29, 23 and 28. Gonzaga (28-3 SU, 17-11 ATS) and coach Mark Few have made three trips to the Sweet Sixteen knowing how to win. Gonzaga likes to run-and-gun, averaging 82 points per game last season. Gonzaga had few weaknesses last year, as they shot 51% from the field, 76% from the charity stripe and 41% from three-point land.

However, it's rebuilding time, of sorts, as two of their three best players are gone in 6'-4' Blake Stepp (14 ppg, 7 apg) and 6'-8', senior Cory Violette (13 ppg, 8 rpg). They will build around 6'-9', 230-pound senior Ronny Turiaf (15 points, 6 boards per game, 53% shooter) who is a strong frontcourt player. Another key will be 6'-8' sophomore Adam Morrison, who averaged 11 points and 4.3 rebounds pg. Morrison was a Greater Spokane League Player of the Year.

The cupboard isn't bare with 6'-9' sophomore Sean Mallon (5.8 ppg) and 6'-6' Erroll Knight (5.9 ppg) getting more playing time and shots. Both averaged roughly 16 minutes per game last season and played in over 28 games. Sophomore guard Derek Ravio will get more time, too. Gonzaga went 17-1 SU at home and 11-2 SU/9-4 ATS on the road!

Gonzaga opened last season with a 73-66 loss to St. Joe's as a favorite. Their next loss was to Stanford, 87-80, on the road. They also won 82-76 over Georgia of the SEC and won 82-68 at Maryland of the ACC as a +3 dog. For good measure, they also played Missouri of the Big 12, and won 87-80. Rebuilding, yes, but they will win more than they lose again (as usual)."

I called this morning as instructed by their site to get the premiere package (3 games) that includes our game on Feb 18 but the message said they were closed today and to go online. The online would not allow any purchase 'at this time'. I've checked back again online and now it's only sold on the 18th of Feb.

Was anyone able to buy any USD tix today?

Prayers to SD residents and fellow SoCal residents re: these massive fires.

sent along with season tix. Bottom line: you are on your own.

" Any tickets you ordered earlier this year for the Great Alaska Shootout, Battle in Seattle or Hall of Fame challenge (UConn) will be mailed to you in early November. The promoter for each game provides GU with seat locations; Gonzaga will allocate those tickets according to priority points.

Due to the high demand and very limited quantities for tickets to our remaining away games, our allotment was offered on a priority points basis by invitation. If you have not received an invitation by this date we strongly encourage you to seek tickets directly from our opponents ticket office as we are limited in our ability to procure them on your behalf."

I just bought 2 tix for the LMU game on Jan. 12...me and the little WhipperZag will be attending. Tix were a bargain...$15 for me and $10 for WhipperZag, plus $5 for handling.

FYI...there's no online ordering for single games. Call 310-338-5466 to order over the phone.

PS...Game time is 5:30pm and will be televised on Fox.

JFYI, the "club level" tickets might be slightly better than the "100" level. The "club level" denies access to the 100 level people. It's a little closer to the concessions and they are a more upscale. Ticketmaster sucks BTW.

I remember when Ebay was "thee site" to go to to get great prices on items. Well...I can definitely tell you this does not apply to GU tickets in the K2. Pair of GU v Griz tickets for $400+? Wow!

If anyone needs a "sign" that this program is going places, look no further.
