It's worth saying that it's second All-Academic award for Przemek. Also, he is the only one holding MBA and its one hell of a job!

Congrats to all three of them! :)

Top of my head, who's the best student MBB athlete in GU history?

Apparent that grades are still a ligit item at GU! Too many schools where they're almost given away, especially to athletes.
These boys have really earned their grades and taken their classes seriously. So many stories of players elsewhere that don't even go to class. Free ride scholarship, free ride academically.
Proud of our guys. Bet there are several others camped out at around 3.00. That's not only going to class, it's class!

Kudos to all three! Gonzaga is not an easy school and to maintain good grades with their travel and practice schedule speaks well of their commitment to get a good education!

Jeff Brown was the Academic All-American of the year.

Jeff is very bright and was a very good student. He's exactly who I thought of when the question was asked.

Jim McPhee, also very bright.

I don't know about Burgess grades, but his professional (non athletic) accomplishments are with out parallel from GU basketball alums.

I say it every time, but threads like this are far more impressive than what is done on the court. Great job, Students!
