Either Shem or jw3

I went with jw3 as he was consistent throughout and was tremendous on the ball screen defending SMC guards

02-11-2017, 06:44 PM
Beach had great energy on the bench but I'm going with karnowski

02-11-2017, 06:44 PM
Shem imposed his will.

02-11-2017, 06:45 PM
Shen had a fine game and a great first half! JWIII was excellent in many ways all game long! I went with JWIII.

It seems like a toss up between Karnowski and Williams. They both were dominant, but on a night where both Perkins and Matthews contributed little Silas stepped up with timely offense and lock down defense. Silas wins the game ball tonight.

All of the above. Those 4 were outstanding tonight.

02-11-2017, 06:46 PM
JWIII was great and Silas did an admirable job of in some gaps for us.

02-11-2017, 06:48 PM
This game is one that we should have 2 POG. It should be PK and JWIII.

02-11-2017, 06:50 PM
Went with Karno over JW3 by a very thin margin (like many this year). Could have gone the other way pretty easily.

Karno but really want to recognize Williams & Silas. Wow--tons of game tonight but Karno used the soup spoon in the key.

02-11-2017, 06:51 PM
Karno set the pace early.

02-11-2017, 06:52 PM
Tough call between Shem and JW3. Both one rebound shy of a double/double. Went with Shem, but really they should be co-GUnits of the game.

02-11-2017, 06:52 PM
Karnowski w/ Williams & Melson special mentions. Melson dang near shot 100%! This team is just plain arse loaded!

02-11-2017, 06:52 PM
Karno was the best big on the floor tonight. Landale could not handle him.

02-11-2017, 06:54 PM
Karno. Great start got us going. JW III and Melson critical contributors with Perks having a tough night and Nigel spending time on the bench. Melson becoming ever more important to a deep run.

02-11-2017, 06:54 PM
Karnowski and Williams both phenomenal. Voted JW3 mostly because I thought his defensive effort was incredible. Really big and mature game from Silas as well.

02-11-2017, 06:56 PM
Williams played as well as we've seen, but Shem played a game beyond what I thought he had in him. If Shem isn't so on fire during the first half, we don't jump out to a lead like we did. Got the crowd out of it, put SMC into the mindset they just don't have it.

02-11-2017, 06:57 PM

But Williams and Melson were huge. Those 3 really led the team tonight.

Nelson, for picking up what was a rough night for the guards.

02-11-2017, 06:58 PM
Tough. Voted Shem, but JWIII could be a co-GUnit!

02-11-2017, 06:59 PM
Think we need to recognize Goss going 8 for 8 from the line. 10 point game. Very important points!

Few for not taking the bait in the sportscenter interview after the game.

J Williams right behind, and a shout out to Silas Melson who came off the bench and played one hell of a game.

Go Zags!!!

Nelson, for picking up what was a rough night for the guards.

Nelson, Melson 220 221 whatever it takes:)

02-11-2017, 07:09 PM
Melson was so clutch in this game.

02-11-2017, 07:09 PM
Karno and JWill for Co-GUnits!

02-11-2017, 08:10 PM
Has to be Karnowski. BUT without Melson it's a different game. I thought he shut down Rahon.

02-11-2017, 08:11 PM
Went with Shem for GUnit. Big shout-outs to Williams III and Silas.

02-11-2017, 08:41 PM
I wanted to vote for JWIII all the way up to pushing the button. What an effort that man put in. But overall I think Karno was more crucial for whole team for the overall win. Karno gets my vote.

02-11-2017, 08:56 PM
quite obvious the best performers were karnowski and Williams, I voted for Williams because I think that was his best game all year long. (now joins Mathews and Collins in the 10 pts a game club)

02-11-2017, 10:29 PM
Had to go with Big Shem... Pretty much set the tone early and helped establish a lead that would never be relinquished.

But the thing that has stood out to me in both SMC games, was our athleticism - in both games JWIII has blocked Rahon drives at the basket, and his ability to switch onto the guards on those pick and rolls and hold his own defensively makes that so much tougher on SMC. Collins has also had some great blocks in both games. It seems in the past, that these SMC guards would get to the bucket unchallenged a lot more often.

JWIII. Unsung hero who made the difference last night

02-12-2017, 07:18 AM
like the majority, Karno with huge props to JWIII and Silas

02-12-2017, 08:49 AM
Beach had great energy on the bench but I'm going with karnowski

I forget that kid is on the team.

Karno my vote. Got their best in foul trouble twice now.

02-12-2017, 11:08 AM
PK had a heck of a game BUT my vote goes to Williams, because of his defensive efforts...playing tight on guards, backing up PK and ZC on the pick & rolls and forcing those inside to change their shot trajectory, when he wasn't blocking shots.

Both he and PK had 9 boards each to...
